With the development of the society, people’s demand for agricultural products growing fast, the original crop planting patterns can no longer meet the needs of social progress. Greenhouse is a new way of crop production, it solves the problem which influence the production of crops, such as the influence from climate, environment, region and so on.This system collecting the greenhouse environment factor data for real-time, then it will compare the collected data with the best environmental data of crops, and the control signal will be generated, so the control devices will be open or close to adjust the greenhouse environment, so as to achieve the most suitable for the greenhouse environment of crops growth.This paper analyzes the development trend and present situation of the greenhouse environment monitoring system at home and abroad, the design scheme and the function implementation of this system is introduced in detail, and build a Linux operation system on the ARM development board is analyzed.This system mainly completed the following three functions:(1) Collect the environmental factor values affecting crop growth in greenhouse, such as air temperature, relative humidity, illumination intensity.(2) Analysis and process the value of the environmental factor which collected. This part is the core content of greenhouse environment monitoring system, it’s main task is to store the data collected from sensors to the database, and through the human-computer interaction interface to view the data, analysis, etc.(3) Control environmental factors in greenhouse. Data collected from sensors will be compared with the threshold value in the database, and through the relay control equipment for the corresponding adjustment, which regulates the greenhouse environment, in order to achieve suitable for crop growth of the greenhouse environment.After the test, each module of the system can meet the design requirements, and system running in good condition.The design of this system can be applied to small field of greenhouse, it can increase crop yield and reduce the workload, it has a good application prospect.
