Rapeseeds is an important oil source in our country.The fresh rapeseeds as test materials, we will research rotating hot air drying process of rapeseeds.and to provide the theory basis for the development of rapeseed rotary drying process and equipment.Based on the research of rapeseed static drying characteristics, we select drying parameters of drying rapeseeds(air temperature, rotating cyclone wind speed,initial water content, draw drying curves and drying rate curve, statistic germination rate of rapeseeds, determine chemical composition. Using fresh rapeseed as test materials, use L9(34) processing method of orthogonal experiment design.In this paper, the main results are as follows:1) Research on static drying characteristics of rapeseed, rapeseed drying rate has a relatively short rising processing, then enter into decelerating drying processing, the main factors affecting the drying rate are temperature, initial moisture content.2) Research on rotating hot air rapeseed display, the same conditions of initial moisture content, air temperature is higher, rotation speed is higher, Rapeseed drying time,which to a safe storage moisture content, is short, rotary air temperature over130℃(rapeseed itself temperature exceeds85℃)made rapeseed germination rate decreased. The chemical composition of rapeseed changes sharply.3) The rotary drying experiment research shows, drying to safety moisture content, the drying time as the evaluation index. Optimization process parameter is rotating hot air velocity is14m/s, the hot air temperature is115℃,25%initial moisture content. With an energy consumption cyclone drying as the evaluation index, temperature105℃, rotating hot air velocity is12m/s.initial moisture content of20%. The test results consistent with orthogonal test data.4) The structural design of rotary drying machine, The rapeseed drying process of material balance calculation, heat balance calculation.
