Lincang is the main tea trees planting area with comprehensive tea production ranked first in Yunnan province. But data provided by the Tea office in2014shows that the tea production in Linxiang District is63.8kg/mu, far less than Lincang city’s average output of118.9kg/mu,having55.1kg/mu between them.In order to find out whether this is Linxiang District tea planting in unsuitable areas caused by, as the same time to make up for the sutdy lack of Mengku tea cultivated land suitability evaluation, it is of realistic significance to carry out the reseatch of the tea information based on remote sense and the suitability evaluation of Mengku tea-cultivating land in Linxiang District and Shuangjiang County. In this paper, we choose Linxiang District and Shuangjiang County as the research object, use Landsat8satellite images to extract information about tea gardens of year2014in the study area, and explore how to extract high accuracy information of tea gardens using moderate resolution remote sensing image in complex mountainous area. Then we select ecological suitability assessment factors of tea gardens in Linxiang District through methods of literature reading, data review, expert consultation, tea farmers visit and so on, determine the weights of evaluation factors using GAHP method and establish tea gardens ecological suitability evaluation system of Linxiang District. Overlay Information extracted from remote sensing with suitability evaluation results to solve the above problems, and put forward reasonable measures. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)It is feasible to extract information of the tea gardens in the study area using moderate resolution Landsat8satellite image data, while in the process of using super vised classification method to extract information, the accuracy of the selection of trai ning samples is required. Tea garden area in the study zone grew quickly in the year2014compared with2005, and the amplification in Linxiang District is much greater th an Shuangjiang County; And whether it is Linxiang District or Shuangjiang County, t he growth of tea garden area that have planted famous ancient tea trees is much higher than other towns since2005. (2) Based on the relative thories of suitability evaluation of the land,selects11indexes from four factors that infuences the growth of tea that the soil, climate, topography, then the suitability evaluation index system of Mengku tea planting was set up,and finally the land suitability evaluation model would be constructed with the support of GIS technology and grey analytic hierarchy process.According to the model analysis:The study area no matter climate, soil and topography are suitabel for Mengku tea growing.and the climate and siol of Linxiang District and Shuangjiang County are both suitable for Mengku tea growing but topography of the Shuangjiang County is better than Linxiang District,so the comprehensive suitability of Shuangjiang County is better than Linxiang District.(3)Using the method of natural breakpoint classification in Arc GIS,the tea plantation will be dicided into the highly suitable areas, secondary adaptation areas, barely suitable area and the unsuitable areas. After the comprehensive evaluation of the suitability of the tea-cultivation land in the research areas by using the evaluation model, the research findings are as follows:the highly suitable areas are106427.87hm2accounting for the22.57%of the total area; the secondary adaptation areas are171933.42hm2accounting for36.47%of the total; the barely suitable areas are157427.65hm2,accounting for33.39%of the total; and the unsuitable areas are35705.305hm2accounting for7.57%of the total area.(4)From2005to2014, both the Shuangjiang County and Linxiang district, their tea garden suitability became worse, showing the highly suitable areas and the secondary adaptation areas proportion became smaller and the barely suitable areas became larger. The Linxiang District degree of variation is greater than Shuangjiang County; and had a large growth rate counties" tea suitability become worse. All these illustrate that economic interect driving tea rapidly increasing, then the tea garden suitability becom worese, so tea production become lessen.
