The test probes soil permeability of twelve kinds of land use types in Lv Liang Fang Shan district by bicyclical test method. analyzing the soil basic physical properties of different land use types, and discussing variation of soil bulk density and initial soil moisture on different soil depths, further purpose to comparative analysis soil infiltration rate variation with time of infiltration with regard to twelve kinds of land use types, among four typical forest trees, among four typical farm land. finally multiple regression analysis soil infiltration curves of twelve kinds of land use types by Kostiakov empirical formula, Universal empirical formula and Horton empirical formula. The results showed that, (1) In addition to the roadbed, soil bulk density of other five land use types have fluctuation growth with increasing soil depth, floating range is in 1.0-1.5g/cm3.while the roadbed density of soil surface gradually reduce, its surface soil bulk density is about 1.5 times of the other five. (2) The initial moisture content of different land use types is slowly increasing trend with increasing soil depth, size expressed as: roadbed<bare<barren grass land<woodland<abandoned land<agriculrural land. (3) The soil infiltration rate of twelve kinds of land use types all dips in penetrating stage, slowly decreases in leakage stage, then gradually stabilizes, the steady infiltration rate: millet>abandoned land>sunflower>potato >broomcorn millet>elm>acacia>barren grass land>walnut>chinese pine>bare>roadbed. (4)The relationship of four kinds of woodland initial infiltration rate:acacia> Chinese pine>elm> walnuts, steady infiltration rate is between 0.9-1.1,the gap is not big. (5) In soil infiltration testing process of twelve kinds of land use types, Horton empirical formula fits the highest degree mostly, roadbed and bare better fitting by Kostiakov empirical formula, for acacia and millet, the goodness of fit by Universal empirical formula is about 0.8, the fitting results of Chinese pine for three empirical formula is all fine, so in arid Lv Liang loess hilly region, Horton empirical formula fits the highest degree.
