In order to know the effect of heavy metals in low concent on the biomass and the concent of Cu、Zn、 Fe、Mn in grain of maize. In this paper, the calcareous drab soil from Shanxi, and the test crop was Zhengdan 958 maize. Through the pot-experiment, this paper studies the effect of five heavy metals such as chromium (250mg·kg-1), cadmium (1.2mg·kg-1), mercury (2mg·kg-1), arsenic (37.5mg·kg-1) and lead (350mg·kg-1) on the biomass and concent of the Cu、Zn、Fe、Mn in Zhengdan 958 grain in low concent. The result shows:(1) Compared with CK,Cr has inhibiting effect on the grain weight of Zhengdan 958 maize, especially in the pustulation period. It decreased by 28.63%-50.77%,showed significant difference. However, the treatments of Pb、Cd、Asand Hg not have significantly promoting or inhibiting effect on the height、fresh and dry weight of Zhengdan 958 maize in the growth period..(2) Compared with CK, Cr has inhibiting the all dry height of Zhengdan 958 maize with significant difference, Cd、As、Hg have no significant difference.however, Pb has obviously promoting the all dry weight of Zhengdan 958.(3)Compared with CK, Cr has inhibiting the grain height of Zhengdan 958 maize with significant difference by 80.62%, Cd has inhibiting no significant difference by 2.48%, Pb、As、Hg have promoting with significant difference。(4) Compared with CK,Heavy metals have different effects on the trace metals of grain. Cr treatment has promoting the contents of Cu, Zn, Fe and Mn in Zhengdan 958 grain.Pb, Cd, Hg, As treatments showed no significant concentration or dilution significantly.
