| In order to select a high nutrient contents Bothriochloa ischaemum population, the 9 Bothriochloa ischaemum(L.) Keng in Shanxi province under cultivation conditions were studied by the chemical analysis of basic nutrients and the degradation rule of nutrient contents in situ of differnet growth stages. Fifteen mutton sheep fitted with permanent rumen fistula were selected to estimate the rumen degradation rule of nutritive contents of 9 Bothriochloa ischaemum. What the purpose of the trail was to protive a theoretical basis for utilazation of Bothriochloa ischaemum germplasm resources and for breeding a new Bothriochloa ischaemum variety.(1) With the maturity progressed, the contents of crude protein (CP), ethanol extract (EE), crude ash (Ash), calcium (Ca) and phosphorus (P) decreased, whereas the contents of organic matter (OM), neutral detergent fiber (NDF), acid detergent fiber (ADF) and acid detergent lignin (ADL) increased. The nutritive contents of Bothriochloa ischaemum in different populations had significant differences (P<0.05). In addition to the jointing stage and booting stage, the CP contents of Taigu population was highest, while the NDF, ADF and ADL contents were lowest, so the nutritional value of Taigu population was highest.(2) With the extension of incubation time of rumen, the degradation rate of nutrient contents of different Bothriochloa ischaemum populations were increased, while with the maturity progressed, they were reduced entirety.The effective degradation rate of nutrient contents of Bothriochloa ischaemum populations were highest in the jointing stage. The effective degradation rate of DM and OM of Pingding (55.09% and 53.06%) and Taigu (54.30% and 52.34%) populations were highets. The CP effective degradation rate of Yanggao (57.38%), Yuanping (56.96%) and Pingding (56.67%) were highest. The NDF effective degradation rate of Pingding (49.34%) and Linfen (47.45%) were highest. The ADF effective degradation rate of Linfen (47.89%), Pingding (46.17%) and Taigu (45.96%) were highest.The effective degradation rate of DM, OM, CP and ADF of Taigu population in heading stage were higher than other populations, which were 46.39%,45.08%,49.88% and 41.95% respectively. The NDF effective degradation rate of Fangshan (41.94%) and Taigu (40.62%) were higher. So the effective degradation rate of Taigu populatuion was highest. |
