| The drought resistance of 10 different populations of Wild Bothriochloa ischaemum were studied oased on the growth indexes, osmotic pressure adjustment, antioxidase system and photosynthesis. Comprehensive evaluation was used to select the drought-resistance populations and to provide a heoretical basis to the drought of Bothriochloa ischaemum. The main results were as follows:1. The growth indexes of different populations of Bothriochloa ischaemum showed some dissimilarity, The drought stress restrained the plant height, stem diameter, aboveground biomass and total biomass,but promoted root length, root volume, root length/plant height, aboveground biomass/underground biomass and underground biomass.The root diameter showed irregular performance.2. The osmotic pressure adjustment of different populations of Bothriochloa ischaemum showed some dissimilarity. In the leaves, shoots and roots, the Pro, SS and SP content increased with the raise of drought stress3. The antioxidase system of different populations of Bothriochloa ischaemum showed some dissimilarity. In the leaves, shoots and roots, the MDA content and SOD activity increased with the raise of drought stress, while the POD showed some dissimilarity.4. The photosynthesis of different populations of Bothriochloa ischaemum showed some dissimilarity. The Pn, Tr, Gs decreased with the raise of drought stress. Ci, WUE showed irregular performance.5. Factor analysis and subordinate function were used to comprehensively evaluate the drought resistance of Bothriochloa ischaemum. The results showed that Wuxiang, Yangqu populations of Bothriochloa ischaemum had stronger drought-resistance ability; Linxian, Pianguan, Yangquan, Taigu, Lingchuan, Xiangfen populations were in the middle level; Daixian, Yanggao populations had poorer resistance. |
