Urbanization is the mainstream of social development and the urban greening is into a fast-growing at the same time. To meet the demand of rapid growth of city greening numerous machine has been used in greening construction. And high population density in China’s cities causes great damage to green area. The main cause of soil degeneration is the degeneration of physicochemical property of soil. The quality of soil not only becomes the reason of city greening restriction, but restrains the ecological function of city soil and the improvement of city’s ecological quality.This paper takes changsha city as the researching objects and compares and analysis systematically the traits of changsha’s greenland. Aiming at the investiga tion and analysis of the city soil in the public green spaces which cover hunan martyrs park, provincial forest garden, the southern park, tianxin park, wuyi road, furong road, shaoshan road, rennin.Road, the author makes an experiment on.Soi 1 bulk density, soil porosity, soil moisture, soil organic matter content, soil factors such as n, p, k content in changsha city. Not only can it sum up the characteris tics of changsha urban green space and its influence to the botanical plants’ grow th, but also finds out that the soil problems in the development.the author also h opes the urban construction can make correct use of garden plants, and mitigates the effects of urban soil on the landscape construction. The sustainable developme nt of landscape construction needs to be improved. Making scientific decisions a bout promoting the urban landscape construction and improving the urban ecologic al environment remains a top priority.
