| The experiment was conducted to study the effect of supplement with microbiological preparation on body weight, hormone traits and immune indexes of suckling foals. 20 suckling foals of Ili horse which were one month old and weighing similarly were randomized into 4 groups(5 in each group) for a 90-day test. Foals in control groups were fed basal diet;the trial group I were fed basal diet supplemented with 0.025 g Bacillus subtilis and 0.033 g lactobacillus plantarum; the trial group II were fed basal diet supplemented with 0.050 g Bacillus subtilis and 0.066 g lactobacillus plantarum; the trial group III were fed basal diet supplemented with 0.075 g Bacillus subtilis and 0.133 g lactobacillus plantarum.The results showed that compared with the control group, the average daily gain of the group â… ,â…¡and â…¢were significantly increased by 16.44 %(P<0.05),15.07 %(P<0.05),13.70 %(P<0.05) respectively. 90 d,the body height of group â…¢ was significantly increased by 3.38 %(P<0.05), compared with the control group,the groupâ… ,â…¡ increased by 2.37 %(P>0.05), 1.27 %(P>0.05);in early lactation 30 d and 60 d(test), the plasma Neuropeptide Y(Neuropeptide Y,NPY) levels of test groupâ…¡ were significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.0l); the NPY of test â… group was significantly higher than that of control group in the test of 30 d; 90 d,in the late lactation NPY of experimental groups were significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05);experiment of 60 d, the SS( Somatostatin,SS) of test groupâ… was significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05), the INS(Insulin,INS) of test group â…¡was significantly lower than that of control group(P<0.05), other groups had no significant difference;compared with the control group, plasma Albumin(AlB) of the groups â… ,â…¡and â…¢were increased by 6.06 %(P<0.05),0.97 %(P>0.05),4.27 %(P>0.05)respectively;in the trial period, there were no significant change of the immune indexes between the groups;throughout the trial period, there were not significant effect of supplement with microbiological preparation on plasma Total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC) of each groups;60 d,compared with the control group, test groupsâ… ,â…¡,â…¢ were increased by 47.37 %(P<0.05),56.94 %(P<0.05) and 66.5l %(P<0.0l) respectively, while there was no significant difference between the experimental groups(P>0.05).Above all, supplementing with Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus subtilis of suckling foal promoted growth of the foals, increased the plasma NPY levels and the total number of bacteria in feces for early lactation foals, the plasma SS and INS for early suckling foals were decreased,while there were no influence on the immune function and antioxidant function of early lactation foals. |
