The comprehensive evaluation of ornamental palmae is the key and basis of scientific development and utilization of introduced ornamental palmae, can effectively solve the problem introduction and application of ornamental palmae, due to not pay attention to the scientific nature, the blind introduction of economic loss, reduce excessive pest prevention and treatment of environmental pollution.This research based on garden plants and application, landscape dendrology and landscape aesthetics and other basic theory and technology, through the literature data collection, sorting and analysis, combined with the field survey, set up a comprehensive evaluation system, has the scientific nature and operability of nanning common ornamental palm system evaluation, investigate the present situation of the application of nanning city ornamental palm, in view of the shortage, put forward the proposal. Aims to provide the basis for reasonable development, the use of ornamental palm breeding, introduction, reduce blindness, repetition of resources, manpower, material resources and waste of time. Through the research, draw the following conclusions:1.Established the evaluation system of Nanning ornamental palmae. Reference ornamental plant evaluation method, through to the relevant experts, from the ornamental value, adaptability and economic index and application index, including 18 evaluation index to construct evaluation system. Evaluation system Adopt the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis method, the evaluation result is relatively comprehensive and scientific.2.Application of analytic hierarchy process in Nanning ornamental palmae were graded.23 kinds of ornamental palm total evaluation value is classified into 3 categories, including 13 kinds of grade Ⅰ, including fishtail palm, chinese fan palm, chinese windmill palm, jade empress palm, queen palm, broadleaf lady palm, wild areca palm, silver date palm, canary island date palm, macarthur palm, cascade palm, footstool palm and hawaii coconut palm. Grade Ⅱ have 5, including parlor palm, solitary fishtail palm, miniature fishtail palm, yellow palm and cuban royal palm. Grade Ⅲ have 5, including variegated leaf palm, pygmy date palm, king palm, mexican fan palm and dwarf palmetto.3.The analysis summarizes the Nanning ornamental palmae on the problems existing in the landscape application. Based on the application of ornamental palm in Nanning to carry out a thorough and meticulous investigation, found that the use of Nanning ornamental palm up to 30 species, including 9 species for the native species,21 kinds of foreign species. Local palm proportion is small, there are important ornamental and practical problems in application of light.4.The ornamental palm landscape should follow the principle of theoretical basis and application. According to current situation of the application of ornamental palmae of Nanning, Proposed follow the principle of scientific, attaches great importance to the practicality and enhance artistic, accelerate the new variety breeding process. This can create a beautiful landscape and maintaining the stability of the landscape, the better to play a functional role of landscape plants, and to enrich plant germplasm resources, highlight the local characteristics.
