Study On The Application Of Ornamental Grass In Landscape Design

Ornamental grass is a kind of beautiful shape,rich colors,with stems and foliage as the main part of ornamental herbaceous plants,mainly from grasses,common and Cyperaceae,Juncaceae,Butomaceae,Araceae,Typhaceae,Liao Ke and other plants.Ornamental grasses are rich in color,texture variety,seasonal color graceful beautiful,with a variety of collocation form.The utility model has strong resistance to bad environment,is easy to be managed and maintained in the garden,and can meet the design purpose of a larger range of garden landscape.With the demand for low maintenance cost plants in recent years,ornamental grass has gradually become the new favorite of landscape plants.Study on Application of ornamental grasses in foreign countries are already quite mature,starting for the application of ornamental grass in China is still in the stage,but in more than one city in China has ornamental grass fling,has made a good landscape in landscape application.The study of ornamental grasses in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi province is still relatively small,so this paper research on the Xi'an area commonly used mainly ornamental grass species and landscape application of ornamental grasses in Xi'an in the landscape design of the ornamental and the feasibility of the scientific research system;and using the method of comprehensive evaluation of common Xi'an watch the grass resource value of grey relational analysis;and the landscape design example show the application form and application of ornamental grass in landscape design thinking.For better development and utilization of ornamental grass resources,services for local landscape construction to lay the foundation.The main findings of this paper are:Through field research on all kinds of green space of Xi'an City,the first Xi'an city common ornamental grass resources in 9 families 32 genera and 41 species,belong to Gramineae,Typhaceae,Cyperaceae,Araceae,Liliaceae,Iridaceae,Juncaceae,Chenopodiaceae and Gramineae Agavaceae.Most,including 26 species,accounting for 63.4% of the total.Secondly,analyzed and summed up the application form of Xi'an ornamental grass in the park in the main: isolated planting,group planting,group planting,ground cover,waterfront planting,flower border,separating the transition.The clump planting group planting,flower border application methods,other application forms are relatively few.According to the principle of the gray correlation analysis,the calculation of index as the contrast factor comparison system and reference system of ornamental grasses,change trend is more consistent,the correlation degree is higher,the more close to the reference system,the higher the value of landscape.In Xi'an,the main ornamental grass after the comprehensive evaluation results show that: 41 species of ornamental grasses in the pampas,moundlily,reed,Arundo donax,four ornamental grass Association of more than 0.7,indicating that it has good ornamental and suitability,suitable for direct application in the landscape garden.In addition,correlation degree between 0.5 and 0.7 there are 34 kinds of ornamental grasses in Xi'an,the vast majority of ornamental grass and landscape suitability is good in application according to the appropriate growth of ornamental grass species selection of different geographical and climate conditions.Based on the present situation and comprehensive evaluation of ornamental grasses in Xi'an City,combined with practical project application,the practice and application mode of ornamental grass was summarized,and the application and development of ornamental grass were summarized.Including: ornamental grass species selection not only to local conditions,but also give full consideration to the project is given in the theme or function;with very high landscape value,ornamental grass with good effect,strong adaptability,low cost,suitable for promotion;in the plant configuration,should strengthen the ornamental grass and other plants collocation planting,to achieve better landscape effect;in practice,pay attention to self abuse,ornamental grass sprawl,strengthen its monitoring and management;strengthen the publicity and promotion of ornamental grasses,new varieties of training work.
