The Research About The Application Of Ornamental Grass In Landscape Of Jinan Area

Ornamental grass was a kind of general designation of herbaceous plants.They had beautiful shape and rich color. Their stem,foliage and inflorescences were the main viewing area on this kind plant. Ornamental grass has not only fruitful plant type, leaf color, inflorescence, the simple manner and naturally disposition but also widespread adjustability, easy to cultivate, high survival rate. They can stick up adverse environment strongly that included plant disease, insect pest, drought and extensive management.Some characteristics of them were used. Those were migrate easily, suitable with long-distance transport and can form landscape in shorter time.So they can reduce costs and save a great deal of irrigation water, human resources,material and financial.It conforms to the purpose of developing saving modern landscape.The research of ornamental grass starts very late in our country, at present the domestic research mainly concentrates in the breeding aspect, including overseas introduction and the local grass plants selective, researching promotion application.But the research of ornamental grass application in garden just is on one hand, it had not researched and appraised the ornamental grass's biology characteristic comprehensive.Ornamental grass's application in botanical garden exist many questions, for example the application variety is unitary,the application form is too simple,the application quantity is serious insufficient,the application scope is not very widespread and does not have enough fundamental research and support. So this research appraises the ornamental grass's ornamental characteristic comprehensive and scientific, it also researches its application in the botanical garden landscape comprehensive and system.Germless nursery is set up for collecting ornamental grass about 52 species (varieties).The foremost content of the research included the biological characteristics of the 46 species (varieties) ornamental grass, phonological observations and analysis of them growing in source area. Grey relational analysis is used to analyze the different characteristics 46 kinds of ornamental grass.Combined with the ecological adaptation of ornamental grass that makes a comprehensive evaluation, selected the species which have better ecological adaptability, higher ornamental value which is more adapted to be used in saving garden.The better include 23 introduced species,5 local species and 6 local species.Depend on the appraisal results of ornamental grass and the channel of field research to get scientifically and reasonable design principles landscape configuration.Sensible ways are got which mix ornamental grass with tree, shrub and grass.The varieties and types of ornamental grass which are applied in different environments are summarized and recommendations are proposed to promote application of the ornamental grass in the Jinan.The aim is to enhance the ornamental grass's application in the botanical garden landscape construction through making every effort through ornamental grass's biology and the ecology quality synthetic evaluation.using botanical garden construction's correlation theories and methods, unifies the landscape art method, finally realizes the ornamental grass's application in the botanical garden construction scientific,reasonable and artistic.This study possessed a great significance for building saving garden.It increased garden plant seeds and even pool resources in Jinan,and even in Shandong province. This enriched the regional landscape and improved level of the local landscape which has the very vital significance to construction a resource saving landscape. Much benefit in ecology, social and economic would be brought from application of ornamental grass in landscape.
