Camellia oleifera is a unique woody edible oil tree species of our county,to choo se superior varieties help to improve the yield and quality of Camellia. At present, Hu nan Province mainly promotes "Xianglin" series of clones. During production practice s,there still exist big differences in terms of yield and quality between different clones. Photosynthesis is the physiological basis of yield and quality of economic plants.In this paper, five "Xianglin" series clones (XL14, XL81, XL82, XL190, XL210) were chosen for the study.Determined the photosynthetic characteristics, chlorophyll c ontent, leaf anatomical characteristics, fruit characters and oil production of five "Xia nglin" series clones.Compared, analyzed and evaluated the index of Photosynthesis, th e anatomical characteristics of leaves and fruit traits. And established the comprehensi ve evaluation model of Camellia oleifera clones,provided theoretical guidance for the selection of superior Camellia oleifera clones.Main research results as follow:①Five Camellia clones daily variation curve of net photosynthetic rate present "single peak" and "Twin Peaks" types,some clones’photosynthesis exist "midday depression".Diurnal mean Pn high-yielding clones (XL14) was significantly higher than the middle clones (XL81, XL82) and the lower clones (XL190, XL210), XL14 (5.27μmolCO2·m-2·s-1)>XL81 (4.68μmolCO2·m-2·s-1)> XL82 (4.55μmolCO2·m-2·s-1)> XL210 (3.65μmolCO2·m-2·s-1)> XL190 (3.55μmolCO2·m-2·s-1).And between the clones have a significant difference.Five clones transpiration rate, stomatal conductance and water use efficiency-day average did not show significant difference.② There were significant differences in five Camellia clones chlorophyll content. The four chlorophyll index of high-yielding clones were greater than the middle and the lower clones. The daily average net photosynthetic rate of five clones and the average chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and chlorophyll a / b indicators exist significantly positive correlation, the correlation coefficients were:0.895,0.892,0.883.③ Five Camellia clones main affecting factor of the net photosynthetic rate is stomatal conductance, intercellular CO2 concentration and light intensity; Five Camellia clones main affecting factor of the transpiration rate is light intensity and stomatal conductance; Five Camellia clones main affecting factor of the water use efficiency is air temperature, stomatal conductance and intercellular.④There is a significant difference between the ratio of palisade tissue /Leaf thickness (XL14(0.4±0.2a μm)>XL81 (0.4±0.4ab μu m)>XL82 (0.3±0.3b μm)>XL210 (0.3±0.2c μ m)>XL190 (0.3±0.1c μ m)) and the ratio of Palisade tissue thickness/Spongy tissue thickness (XL14(0.7±0.0a)>XL81 (0.7±0.1ab) >XL82 (0.6±0.1ab)>XL210 (0.6±0.1b)>XL190 (0.5±0.1c)) of five Camellia clones.Correlation analysis showed that there is a significant correlation between the ratio of net photosynthetic rate and the ratio of palisade tissue thickness/leaf thickness, ratio of palisade tissue thickness/spongy tissue thickness.Therefore,the ratio of palisade tissue thickness/leaf thickness, ratio of palisade tissue thickness/ spongy tissue thickness can be used as indicators of tea clones identified photosynthetic capacity.⑤ Net photosynthetic rate and fruit yield per plant was significantly and positively correlated with plant oil production, dry kernel oil was a significant positive correlation between oil content and fresh fruit, fresh seed rate, dry out between seed rate There is a certain positive correlation, but the correlation is small.⑥ From the indicators of photosynthesis, leaf and fruit anatomical features traits, selected three level one indicators,15 level two indicators, constructed the evaluation index system of Camellia clones. Took the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to construct the quality rating models of Camellia clones. Assessment indicated the XL1 4 is the optimal clones of five clones, fuzzy probability value is 0.996.
