Brucellosis is anthropozoonosis caused by Brucella, and have the traits of female abortion, infertility and Sire orchitis. Neosporiasis is a kind of protozoosis commonly seen in bovini, horse, sheep, deer, dog and many other kinds of animals caused by Neospora caninum. Neos pora caninum can lead to female abortion, stillbirth and also dyskine sia in newborn, nervous system disease.Both bovini brucellosis and Ne osporiasis are the main cause of bovini breeding disorder. With the i improvement of the intensification level of cattle rearing, Both bovin i brucellosis and Neosporiasis has severely obstacled the development of cattle rearing industry. RBPT is a effective serological diagnosis method to detect brucellosis. It is easy to operate and doesn’t nee d precise instrument, so RBPT is suitable for basic level. ELISA can b e used to detect Macromolecular antigen and specific antibody. It has the advantages of fast, sensitive, simple and the vector is easy to be standardized. This method has been widely used to detect all kinds of epidemic diseases.In order to know the distribution of brucellosis and Neosporiasis in some area of jilin province, we use RBPT to detect brucellosis am ong 168 serum samples from yanbian and songyuan distict, and also com pared 100 bovine serum samples from different feeding pattern, breeds and age bracket.We use ELISA to detect bovine Neosporiasis among 410 bovine serum samples from five districts called meihe, songyuan, Cha ngchun, jilin, baishan and also compared 193 bovineserum samples from different feeding pattern, breeds and age bracket.The result shows that in the detection of brucellosis, the positi ve rate of bovine serum samples in songyuan district is 35.9%, the po sitive rate of bovine serum samples in yanbian district is 58.13%. Son gyuan and yanbian districts in jilin province are epidemic regions of brucellosis, in which yanbiandistrct have the most serious situation, the positive rate of bovine serum samples reach up to 64%OAfter the analysis of statistics, among the detection of Neosporosis, the posit ive rate of among meihe, songyuan, Changchun, jilin and baishan dist ricts are 19.67%、23.07%、10.53%、16.67% and 35.75%, respectively. Meih e, songyuan, Changchun, jilin and baishan districts in jilin province are epidemic regions of Neosporosis, and the positive rate of Neospor osis in changbai county baishan district reach up to 39.65%.There are also significant differences in different feeding pattern and differ ent breeds. The result of investigation indicate that jilin province is epidemic region of both Neosporosis and brucellosis。And our resea rch can provide Epidemiological data about how to prevention and cont rol Neosporosis and brucellosis. The results of the survey confirmed t hat, brucellosis and Neosporiasis are epidemic in jilin province. Our research can provide Scientific Evidence for the prevention and cont rol of brucellosis and Neosporiasis in jilin province.
