Mytilaria laosensis is an evergreen broadleaved trees. This study is mainly for the cutting propagation techniques of Mytilaria laosensis.1. Different cutting source test, Cuttings from 1-year-old seedlings in the upper bra nches, 1-years-old root occasion sprout from 5-years-old trees, 1-year-old branches fro m 5-years-old trees, 1 leaf was reserved, cuttings were soaked in ABT1# by 10 s. later ite : peat(1: 1) as medium. The trial began in October 12, 2014 and ended in Dece mber 27 th. The results show that seedling stems and basal sprouts are better than hard branches to be cuttings. Rooting rates of seedling and basal sprout cuttings are 81.7%and 13.3% respectively, while cuttings of hard branch have a rooting rate of 5.0%. Re sults showed that adventitious roots originated mostly and early from lenticel roots, whi le partly and lately from callus roots in cuttings.2. Different leaf kept styles test, cuttings from 1-year-old seedlings.1、1/2、0,thre e kinds leaf kept styles. laterite : peat(1: 1) as medium. Cuttings were soaked in AB T1# by 10 s.The trial began in November 16, 2014 and ended in January 28, 2015.Root ing rate and root system development activity was correlated significantly with amount of leaf attaining, for cutting with 1 leaf retained is 78.0%、15.4±1.6 roots、4.8±0.4c m, for cutting with 1/2 leaves is 66.0%、10.1±1.2、3.4±0.3cm, the control without le af has no roots.3. Foliage dressing test, the treatment was foliage dressing, the contrast was no fol iage dressing.Cuttings from 1-year-old seedlings.1 leaf was kept, laterite : peat(1: 1)as medium. Foliage dressing has important influence on rooti ng and root system development, rooting rate、the number of primary roots、the longes t length of adventitious root for cutting treated by foliage dressing were 78.0%、15.5±1.6、4.8±0.4cm, were much higher than the control which were 52%、7.5±1.4、2.4±0.3cm.4. Stems of one year old seedlings of M. laosensis were cut as cuttings,cuttings were cultivated in the mixture of peat∶vermiculite(v/v=1:1).Cuttings were treated w ith four plant growth regulators(IAA、NAA、IBA、ABT1#) under four concentrations(500mg.L-1、1000mg.L-1、1500mg.L-1、2000mg.L-1) by 10 s.The order of effect on ro oting is ABT1#>IBA>NAA>IAA.it started in April 16, 2014, ended in June 16。Th e best rooting effect was obtained in the treatment of 2000 mg.L-1ABT1# solution,the rooting rate was as high as 33 % and callus rate was 41%.Both IBA and NAA are s uitable applied at 500 mg.L-1,have the rooting rate of 19 % 、15% and the callus rate of 37%、35% respectively.The rootage effect was better to use 1000 mg.L-1 to IAA,the rooting rate was 15% and callus rate was 37%.5. Test of times treated by ABT1#, 0、1、2 were designed,Cuttings from 1-yearold seedlings.1 leaf was kept, laterite : peat(1: 1) as medium. The trial began in No vember 16, 2014 and ended in January 28, 2015. Cuttings treated by ABT1# 1 time g ot the best result. The rooting rate have no Significant differences between treated 1 or0, but higher than treated 2 times respectively。The number of primary roots、the lon gest length of adventitious root for cutting treated 1 time were 15.5±1.6、4.8±0.4cm,untreated were 6.1±0.8、2.6±0.3cm, treated 2times were 3.5±0.7、2.6±0.5cm.6. Stems of one year ol d seedlings of M. laosensis were cut as cuttings,soaked in ABT1# by 10 s. cuttings wer e cultivated in the mixture of peat∶vermiculite(v/v=1:1).Trial began at August 29,ended in December The result showed that cuttings disinfected and wax sealed the top incision got the highest rooting rate, is 41.7% significantly higher than other treatment s. The rooting rates for the treatments did not disinfected and wax sealed、disinfected a nd didn’t wax sealed、disinfected and wax sealed the underpart incision、disinfected a nd wax sealed two incisions、didn’t disinfected and wax sealed the underpart incision were 5.0%、8.3%、16.7%、15.0%、13.3%.7. Mediums test: Stems of one year old seedlings of M. laosensis were cut as cutt ings, 1/2 leaves were kept,soaked in ABT1# by 10 s. Test began on September 13, ended in December 5.It had significantly effect in different mediums; the highest rooting r ate obtained in vermiculite or laterite, was 84%; the maximum of the longest length of adventitious roots occurred in the peat, was 9.9±1.0cm, significantly longer than that of other matrix; sand and sand: peat(2:1) with the largest number of primary roots,for 22.3±2.7, 22.3±2.2.8. Different length of cuttings were test, it was founded that Micro-cuttings for M.laosensis could be a seedling stem cut as long as 1-2cm and 1 leaf retented.9、The effect of mediums(sand, vermiculite, laterite:peat(1:1)) and plant growth reg ulators(ABT1#, IBA300mg·L-1+NAA200 mg·L-1) on rooting performance of sprout.The result showed that ABT1# + vermiculite got the highest rooting rate was 81.3%.ABT1# performance better than IBA300mg·L-1+NAA200 mg·L-1, the longest length of adventitious root、the number of primary roots for ABT1# were 8.0±0.5cm、34.5±2.4, for IBA300mg·L-1+NAA200 mg·L-1 were 4.4±0.5cm、19.3±2.9. vermiculit e and laterite:peat(1:1) is better than sand,the longest length of adventitious root、the n umber of primary roots for vermiculite were 5.1±0.6cm,23.3±3.1, for laterite:peat(1:1)were 6.9±0.6cm、22.8±3.3.10. Optimal levels comprehensive experiment, 1 year seedling stems and basal spr outs as cuttings, 2 leaf was kept, treated by 2000mg?L-1 ABT1# 10 s, take vermiculite as medium, foliage dressing everyday after cuttings planted for 30 days。Trial began on March 5, 2015 and ending April 12. 38 days ago the rooting rate for seedling cutting s was 100%, for sprout cuttings was 70%.The number of primary roots、the longest len gth of adventitious root for seedlings cuttings were 27.5±1.8, 5.7±0.3cm for sprout cu ttings were 11.5±1.5, 1.1±0.2.It also found that leaf cuttings can be rooting.
