| Equisetum arvense L. is a perennial herb and belongs to Pteridophyta Equisetaceae horsetail genus. E. arvense reproduce widely at northern fields in China. It can produce an effect on wheat growth by its rich allelochemicals. Through bioassay method, we researched the effects of E. arvense fertile shoots, sterile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution with different concentrations on seed germination, seedling growth of 3 varieties of wheats, ie Longmai36(LM36), Longmai30(LM30) and Longmai35(LM35). So we could screen out wheat varieties that resistant on E. arvense, and provide a theoretical basis for the reasonable production of wheat and the sustainable development of agriculture. The results showed as follows.1. There was different allelopathic effects of E. arvense fertile shoots, sterile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution on wheat seed germination. There was strongest allelopathy of E. arvense fertile shoots leaching solution on LM36 wheat seed germination index than E. arvense sterile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution treatment. While at higher concentration there was stronger allelopathy of E. arvense fertile shoots leaching solution on LM30 and LM35 wheat seed germination rate, germinability and germination index. Above all indicated that the part of E. arvense effects wheat seed germination at fields is fertile shoots.2. There was different allelopathic effects of E. arvense fertile shoots, sterile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution on wheat seeding growth. There was stronger allelopathy of E. arvense fertile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution on LM36 wheat seedling height, root length, root fresh weight and root dry weight than E. arvense sterile shoots leaching solution treatment. There was stronger allelopathy of E. arvense fertile shoots and sterile shoots leaching solution on LM30 wheat seedling height than E. arvense rhizomes leaching solution treatment. There was strongest allelopathy of E. arvense fertile shoots leaching solution on LM35 wheat seedling height and root dry weight than E. arvense sterile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution treatment. Above all indicated that, fertile shoots mainly effects wheat seeding growth after emergence of wheat seedlings. And it could be dwarfed. Fertile shoots is favourable for wheat seedlings growth.3. There was different allelopathic effects of E. arvense fertile shoots, sterile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution on wheat seeding physiological property. There was stronger allelopathy of E. arvense fertile shoots and sterile shoots leaching solution on LM36 wheat seedling peroxidase activity and glycollic oxidase activity than E. arvense rhizomes leaching solution treatment. There was stronger allelopathy of E. arvense fertile shoots and sterile shoots leaching solution on LM30 wheat seedling soluble sugar content than E. arvense rhizomes leaching solution treatment. There was strongest allelopathy of E. arvense sterile shoots leaching solution on LM35 wheat seedling proline content and catalase activity root dry weight than E. arvense fertile shoots and rhizomes leaching solution treatment. Above all indicated that the part of E. arvense effects wheat seeding physiological property at fields is sterile shoots.4. Among three wheat varieties, LM30 showed a greater resistance to allelopathy of E. arvense. LM36 and LM35 showed sensitivity to allelopathy of E. arvense. |
