The test one choose 400 of 21-days-old with similar weight Xinghua chicken, 200 chickens as a group were randomly divided into 2 groups, free range group, drylot feeding group. Setting 4 repeated within each group, each repeat 50 chickens. Feeding with mixed feed. This test compares the free range and the barn feeding of production performance and meat quality about Weizixia Xinghua chicken. The results are as follows:In terms of the feed conversion ratio, percentage of abdominal fat, drip loss of breast muscle, drip loss of leg muscle about free rang group is extremely significantly lower than that of barn feeding group(P<0.01). The pH45 min value of leg muscle about free rang group is significantly lower than barn feeding group(P<0.05). Free rang group of breast muscle, leg muscle, warner-bratzler shear value and fleshcolor value are extremely significantly higher than that of stabling group(P<0.01). Averagedaily gain, dressed percentage, percentage of half-eviscerated, percentage of all-eviscerated, percentage of breast muscle, percentage of leg muscle, pH45 min value of breast muscle, pH24 h value of breast muscle, pH24 h value of leg muscle and cooking loss between the two groups, the difference is not significant(P>0.05). Free rang group of breast muscle and leg muscle drip loss rate is extremely significantly below than that of the barn feeding group(P<0.01). Conventional nutrients: free rang group of breast muscle and leg muscle of ether extract rate significantly lower than the barn feeding group(P<0.01).The crude protein rate is opppstited with it, free rang group breast muscle of crude protein and leg muscle of crude protein are significantly higher than that of barn feeding group. The test two choose 400 of 21-days-old with similar weight Xinghua chicken, 200 chickens as a group were randomly divided into 2 groups, mixed feed group, multigrain group. Setting 4 repeated within each group, each repeat 50 chickens. Mixed feed group feed with mixed feed, multigrain group was feed with mainly on corn and wheat bran cereals. This test compares two kinds of different diets type of production performance and meat quality about Weizixia Xinghua chicken. The results are as follows:In terms of total weight gain and average daily gain, mixed feed group total is extremely significantly higher than that of multigrain group(P<0.01). Feed conversion ratio of mixed feed group is extremely significantly lower than the multigrain group(P<0.01). Mixed feed group and multigrain group have no significantly different on dressed percentage, percentage of half-eviscerated, percentage of all-eviscerated, percentage of breast muscle, percentage of leg muscle and percentage of abdominal fat(P>0.05). Mixed feed group’s pH24 h value of breast muscle was significantly lower than the multigrain group(P<0.05); Warner-brazler shear value of leg muscle was extremely significantly lower multigrain group. Breast muscle fleshcolor value and leg muscle flesh color value are significantly lower than that of multigrain group(P<0.05). Mixed feed group and multigrain group have no significantly different on pH45 min value of breast muscle, pH45 min value of leg muscle, pH24 h value of leg muscle, drip loss, cooking loss, warner-bratzler shear value of breast muscle(P>0.05). Mixed feed group and multigrain group have no significantly different on pH45 min value of breast muscle, pH45 min value of leg muscle, pH24 h value of leg muscle, drip loss, cooking loss, warner-bratzler shear value of breast muscle(P>0.05). In terms of crude ash content of leg muscle, calcium content of breast muscle, multigrain group are extremely significantly higher than that of mixed feed group. There are not significant in the moisture content, ether extract rate of leg muscle, calcium content of leg muscle, phosphorus content of breast muscle(P>0.05). Based on the comprehensive indicators, mixed feed group have better growth performance, multigrain group have better meat quality.
