This paper takes wildflower portfolios which formulated with Xinjiang wildflowers and cultivate flowers has been screened suitable climate conditions of Xinjiang as the object of study, determination of the indicators, screening out the wildflower portfolios with Xinjiang Turkic flavor, achieve the adaptability, resistance, regeneration and self reproduction characteristics that general planting flowers can not be compared. To enrich the diversity of wildflower portfolios, improve and protect the ecological environment, also to meet the people’s desire for the beauty of nature. The main results are as follows:(1) Selected 15 families, 32 genera, total 43 species of herbaceous flowers, by measuring each thousand-seed weight and germination percentage of flowers to determine the seeding rate. Mirabilis jalapa of which the largest thousand-seed weight was 103.14 g. Lythrum salicaria of which the minimum thousand-seed weight, only 0.04 g, Flowers of Cosmos sulphureus, Impatiens balsamina, Agrostemma githago and Zinnia elegans thousand-seed weight were about 10.00 g, the rest were less than 10.00 g. Achillea wilsoniana seed germination rate was the highest, up to 99.30%, followed by Godetia amoena, Linum perenne, Impatiens balsamina, Tagetes patula and Silene pendula, the minimum germination rate is Physostegia virginiana, only 35.60%.(2) The planting experiments show that among the five wildflower combinations, the first, second, fourth and fifth wildflower combinations have a better adaptability, low fertilizer requirements, long flowering period and bright colors, good resistance on poor soil. They could be blossom in summer if sowed in spring in north Xinjiang, flowering period last spring, summer and autumn, is a superior choice for landscape. During the process of the third wildflowers combination planting, we can not ensure the consistency of the actual germination rate and theoretical germination rate. Impact of sowing quantity calculation leads to high density of Lobularia maritime and Tagetes patula L. less ornamental value of landscape effect.(3) The ornamental value evaluation about wildflower combination showed that, the wildflowers combinations with western regions characteristics have great development potential and application prospect in Xinjiang by evaluate Xinjiang wild combinations from garden application, adaptation and utilization. the results of comprehensive evaluation and actual cases with a high consistency in Urumqi, annual and biennial flowers in every combination can form a great plants landscape at the year planted. Perennial flowers can maintain high ornamental value for many years. The best greening landscape effect are combination of shade series: “Retirement charm” and Combination of drought-tolerant: “Flying silk”, the second is barren tolerance series: “Pearl of the desert”, both of them can fully adapted to poor soil, The ground effect of Combination of slope protection:“Essence of wind-induced” is excellent, ideal for highway slope protection and natural beauty, but not suitable for planting in the divisor. Combination of garden perennial “Splendid China-Jiang” colorful landscape, plants scattered, full of natural style, and low maintenance costs, show the beautiful landscape effect for a long time.
