China is a big pig-breeding country, the pig farming industry occupies an important position in China’s livestock. Yushan black pig superior varieties of Jiangxi local pig was included in the national protection of livestock and poultry breeds. Health environment and animal welfare seriously affect the pig’s health and production performance, the sound is an important aspect of the rearing environment. In last few years, the welfare of livestock acoustic environment has become the focus of domestic and foreign studies. But the mostly concerned studies are on the surface or the macro aspects of animal behavior and growth, the action mechanism is reported rarely. The project is to study the effects of music sound wave on the growth performance and endocrine mechanism of Yushan black pig(weaned piglets). The objective of the study is to evaluate the effect of music sound wave on the behavior, survival rate, transformation rate of diet, growth rate, carcass quality, serum biochemical parameters, serum levels of growth related hormones in weaned piglets. To explore the acoustical environment for weaned piglets to adapt to weaning stress, improve the survival rate and growth rate, to analyze the endocrine mechanism of growth performance, and to provide the basis for sound welfare and its action mechanism and Healthy Culture of Swine. This experiment played different types and different frequency songs, eventually proved that the music has a certain effect on the growth performance of piglets, has a significant impact in reducing fight among piglets, it can improve the benefits level of piglets. But it depends on the type of music. Music has no significant effect on piglets’ serum markers and meat quality.
