The Study On The Dynamic Changes Of Forest Resources And Ecological Conditions Based On City-county Synchronized Monitoring System

Forests are the main body of terrestrial ecosystems, and they undertake multiple tasks including eco-products, material products, etc. Forest resources are both the basis of forestry ecological construction and industrial development, and the basis of economic and social sustainable development. Quantity, quality and health status of forests not only determine their ecological social function, but also important indexes of appraising the development of local ecology, economy and society.This study applies the method based on city-county synchronized monitoring system, via sampling techniques, modeling techniques, remote sensing technology as well as other modern high technologies, and it establishes city-county synchronized monitoring system through these monitoring methods such as a fixed sample plot monitoring, updating forest resource files, model estimation and remote sensing interpretation, etc. The author adopts the data of fixed sample plot and various dynamic monitoring data of counties which was surveyed in Hangzhou during 2011-2013 with the scope of the monitoring area. And the author identifies the status of forest resources, forest ecological conditions and the distribution situation of forest resources in Hangzhou during the whole year of 2013.Based on the above, the writer also analysises dynamic situation of forest resources in Hangzhou, in 2011-2013. The results indicates that over the past three years, the total quantity and quality of forest resources in Hangzhou reflect that the main indexes of forest resources status and ecological situation indicators are both to a good direction. Hangzhou City has achieved positive results in the aspect of protection and development of forest resources, while part of the resource dynamic indicators appears a downward trend. Analysis shows that the problems still exist such as excessive interference of human activities, unreasonable structure of stand plantation, and other issue.For the status and trends of forest resources in Hangzhou, the article proposes some recommendations on strengthening organizational leadership, improving the management system, enhancing forest tending, and increasing greening areas.
