Dynamic Analysis And Study Of Forest Resource And Forest Ecological Benefit Based On At The Maoershan Forest Farm

This study combines natural survey and business History in the Maoershan Forest Factory, which is on the GIS technology platform. Maoershan Forest Factory 's two periods of forest maps of 1993 and 2004 are main basic data, set up a forest resource space database of research area of 1993 and 2004, achieve data return of two periods of forest resources. Overlay the vector forest maps of 1993 and 2004, and made a new vectorgraph which could reflect the change of land type,stand type and age class between 1993 and 2004. Same time, it was not only reflect forest resource status in the past but also was it now, and reflect change by spatial maps. The structural changes of forest resources was obtained through the analysis of the variations of quantities, types and space distributions of forests and forest lands resources, furthermore, the The ecological benefit aspect caused by the variations of forest resources structures were revealed based on the analysis of ecological value, the relationship between forest resources and ecological environment was reflected more objectively. We mainly make a study of following aspects:(1) We statistically educe the forest resource variation course on quantity and space distributing during eleven years: During eleven years, the area of forest land and shrub land increase, which increase 16990000m~2 and 553000m~2 respectively. But area of water land, mire land and so on descends to a great extent. At the same time area of age class turns wide and distributing range enlarges.(2) Utilizing the abilities of strong spatial analysis and data management of GIS, the paper put the results of valuation on each sub-compartment which supplied the data for the managers.(3) In assessing models of Forest ecological benefit, the paper supplied "effective area coefficient" and "market transform coefficient" in order to make the results approach to the market values. The whole ecological benefits shows uptrend, except water and soil conservation benefits in forest get a little descend.(4) Though the analysis of results and GIS, the conclusions were:â‘ In Maoershan, the amount of forest water resource storage capacity was 0.21and 0.22 billion dun, the amount of currency was 0.2 and 0.3 billion yuan in 1993 and 2004 respectively.â‘¡There were great differences in the values of various ecological valuation. The values of forest water resource and air improved function played a master role in the ecological value which accounted for 92.1% and 94.5% of the total in 1993 and 2004.The study analyzes synthetically the eleven years forest resource and environmental change of Maoershan Forest Department, and all things are considered in the study. It is quite significant on the study of forest resource and environmental change theory and practice in concrete business management in Maoershan Forest Department.
