With the development of science and technology, how to timely and accurately obtain the crop acreage information is very important to the modern agriculture. Remote sensing technology plays an important role in the field of agriculture, and at the same time, more and more multi-temporal remote sensing and multi-spectral remote sensing data for the extraction of the large area crop planting provide very important means and vast amounts of information. Fragrant pear is one of the most popular fruit, whose planting and breeding is mainly distributed in southern Xinjiang, and Korla is the main cultivation area with the largest production. So fragrant pear is also known as Korla fragrant pear. Korla is one of the most important regions of fragrant pear, and with the implement of western development strategy and agricultural industrial structure adjustment of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the fragrant pear as a special industry has entered a stage of large-scale development. In order to timely grasp the planting and production information of Korla fragrant pear, improve the managers’ decision-making ability and get to know the needs of the modern information management, therefore the usage of the remote sensing data for fragrant pear planting base information is a better way to save man-power, material resources and information so as to obtain high accuracy compared with the traditional method. This thesis aims at extracting the information about the pear planting area and the spatial distribution of Korla fragrant pear. By using the collected research fields of basic geographic information, land utilization and land type, main crop planting types, and typical compiled data to classify and rearrange the basic feature elements of the research through the Arcgis software, then built the dot layer and the linear layer as well as the surface layer. Using the hand-held GPS locator and the differential GPS locator is an appropriate method to get the sample-collection and fixed-point of typical features in the located region, and access to research field data of fragrant pear, red dates, cotton, grape feature samples, etc. Using spectral measuring instrument for researching all kinds of fruit trees canopy spectral to get the corresponding spectral data. Using domestic resources satellite No.3 and environmental mitigation satellite data combined with the spectrometer measured main vegetation canopy spectral data and phonological information characteristics to explain, compare and analyze on the remote sensing image, and then established the explanatory indication and decision-tree-mode of the fragrant pear and got the high and precise planting space as well as distribution information of fragrant pear, red jujube and grape in the research area. using professional image processing software Arcgis and Envi to study the vegetation index from satellite No.3 to extract the data, and combined with GE hyper-spectral image data to analyze the different growth years of fragrant pear trees’ information and determine the range of fragrant pear tree vegetation value. Through combining with computer to extract the planting area and the area of the different age so as to verify the accuracy of the data. Finally censuses the different distributions and precise areas of fragrant pear trees in different regions, provides valuable materials for the study of fragrant pear in southern Xinjiang, and also provides effective and important information for managers and decision makers. The information of various fruit planting spatial data and Korla characteristics of fruit production as well as management and marketing provides a scientific decision basis for fruit and products, and laid a solid foundation for economic development for the fragrant pear..
