Objective(1) On the basis of the correlation between the growth of medicinal materials and ecological factors, the analysis on ecological suitability and regionalization of Cistanche deserticola Y.C.Ma was conducted with the relationship between the quality of medicinal materials(the content of index component) and the index of habitat suitability, which will provide a scientific basis for developing regionally the cultivation and manufacture of precious traditional Chinese medicine resources.(2) The study on the molecular identification of Cistanche deserticola Y.C.Ma from different producting areas was conducted, which will provide an objectivity basis for accurately identifying Cistanche. Method(1)Based on the elaborate ecological factors processed by GIS and related ecological data, the zoning maps in county class was manufactured with the Maximum entropy model for Chinese medicine resources, and the zoning maps in province class was obtained with cartographic generalization technology. Furthermore, the clustering analysis was studied by SPSS statistics on the base of the zoning maps and distribution information of the content of index component.(2)The herba Cistanche deserticola Y.C.Ma materials from different producting areas were conducted with DNA extraction and PCR amplification in order to get corresponding DNA sequence, further, DNA sequences were analyzed to clarify the difference and construct the phylogenetic tree. The content of index component were measured by HPLC. Results(1) The accuracy rate of index component echinacoside was 65.64% obtained from PCA(principal component analysis) and maximum entropy model.(2) The clustering analysis of four segment sequence was disorder. Conclusions(1) The eugenics ecological environment of Cistanche deserticola Y.C.Ma medicinal materials was summarized: The effective water content level in the soil was 150mm/m; Type of soil was sticky sand; The vegetation type was subshrub, short half shrubs desert in temperate regions; The suitable distribution region of Cistanche deserticola Y.C.Ma were the southeast of Ejina, the middle of Alashan You prefecture and the north of Alashan Zuo prefecture.(2)The genetic materials of Cistanche deserticola Y.C.Ma from three different producting areas were the same.
