The experiment base on quantitative character major gene and polygene hybrid genetic model analysis method,study on the 8 ear traits and 2 quality traits of P1, P2, F1, B1, B2 and F2 six generations of two pairs of waxy maize,The results as follows: 1.Studies on the major gene and polygene inheritance of ear traits in waxy maize.In combination I and combination II,the era length traits fit the C-0 model,that was the model of additive-dominant-epistatic polygene.the combination I had highest selection in F2 generation, the combination II had highest selection in B1 generation.In combination Iand combination II,the era diameter traits fit the D-0 model,that was the model of one pair of additive-dominant major gene and additive-dominant-epistatic polygene.the combinationIhad highest selection in B1 generation, the combination II had highest selection in B1 and B2 generation.In combination I, the kernel row number traits fit the E-0 model, that was the model of two pair of additive-dominant major gene and additive-dominant polygene.,it had highest selection in B2 generation.In combination II, the kernel row number traits fit the B-1 model, that was the model of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene,,it had highest selection in B1 generation.In combination I, the kernel number per row traits fit the C-0 model, that was the model of additive-dominant-epistatic polygene,it had highest selection in F2 generation. In combination II, the kernel number per row traits fit the E-3 model, that was the model of two pair of additive major gene and additive-dominant-epistatic polygene,it had highest selection in B1 generation.In combination I, the ear weight traits fit the D-0 model, that was the model of one pair of additive-dominant major gene and additive-dominant-epistatic polygene,it had similar heritability in B1,B2,F2 generations In combination II, the ear weight traits fit the E-1 model, that was the model of two pair of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene and additive-dominant polygene, it had high heritability all in B1,B2,F2 generations.In combination I,the 100-kernel weight traits fit the E-0 model, that was the model of two pair of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene and additive-dominant-epistatic polygene,it had highest selection in F2 generation. In combination II, the 100-kernel weight traits fit the B-1 model, that was the model of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene,it had highest selection in B1 and B2 generation.In combinationIand combination II,the cob diameter traits fit the E-0 model,that was the model of two pair of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene and additive-dominant-epistatic polygene.the combination I had highest selection in F2 generation,the combination II had highest selection in B1 generation and B2 generation.In combination I,the cob weight traits fit the E-0 model, that was the model of two pair of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene and additive-dominant-epistatic polygene it had high heritability all in B1,B2,F2 generations.In combination II, the cob weight traits fit the B-1 model, that was the model of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene,it had highest selection in B1 generation and B2 generation. 2.Studies on the major gene and polygene inheritance of kernel quality traits in waxy maize.In combinationIand combination II,the amylopectin content traits fit the E-1 model, that was the model of two pair of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene and additive-dominant polygene.the two combination had high heritability all in B1,B2,F2 generations.In combinationIand combination II,the lysine content traits fit the E-1 model, that was the model of two pair of additive-dominant-epistatic major gene and additive-dominant polygene.the two combination had no diffirent heritability in B1,B2,F2.,the two combination had high heritability all in B1,B2,F2.
