China is a large agricultural country, tractor as one of the most important agricultural machinery whose power performance, economy and efficiency performance has an important influence on the efficiency of agricultural production. At present, the domestic tractor adopts more the mechanical manual transmission, which has many defects such as frequent shift operation, difficult to shift in the work process,and driver easy fatigue. The dual clutch automatic transmission has some advantages which contain high transmission efficiency, no interrupting in the process of shifting and good inheritance in the production etc. The research of DCT applying to tractor has great practical value.In this paper, the tractor DCT shifting actuator is divided into transmission control mechanism and a dual clutch control mechanism, and to determine the operating mechanism and the dual clutch transmission operating mechanism. Through the analysis of the structure and the working principle of DCT, and combined with the characteristics of the tractor, put forward the dual clutch automatic transmission scheme for tractor. According to the working principle of the dual clutch automatic transmission, and the design requires of transmission operating mechanism. The structure design and calculation of tractor DCT’s transmission operating mechanism is completed. Dynamic analysis of the shifting process is finished. Based on the analysis of the dual clutch working process, the design and calculation of double clutch control mechanism is completed, and the working principle is analyzed detailedly. The motor,hydraulic pump, hydraulic control valves and accessories are selected. Dynamic analysis of the filling process is finished, and the mathematical model is established.The simulation analysis of the shift actuator of tractor’s DCT is established with Matlab/Simulink and AMESim. The results show that: The mechanism response fast,smooth motion, the time required is less than 0.4s, the overshoot rate of system pressure after PID control is less than 3%, basically satisfies the design requirements.
