China is a big country of agriculture; it is an urgent goal to be implemented inagricultural modernization and mechanization, which is an important symbol of acountry’s agricultural mechanization level. The traditional manual mechanicaltransmission is installed in most of the tractors in China; some shortcomings areshowed in shifting such as frequent Operating, interruption of power, big jerk, and soon. While tractor assembled with Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) can make up theseweaknesses, Continuous output power is achieved and fuel consumption is reduced.The overall level of our country’s tractor is improved by equipped with DCT.A reasonable gear was proposed based on the comparative analysis of differenttransmission gear in this paper. Components of hydraulic circuit system wereresearched and control loop hydraulic circuit system was designed. Analyzes thetransmission torque characteristics of wet clutch, law of genetic algorithm was raisedand the parameters of wet clutch were optimized by laws of genetic algorithm. Enginesimulation model was founded based on the research of speed characteristics of motors.Research tractor engine dynamics, analyzes the whole detailed process of DCTshifting, and elaborate transmission route and kinetic equation satisfied in each stage.Shift time, jerk and friction work were made as shift evaluation, analyzes impact onthese evaluations at different Variation of pressure, on this basis, exponential typecontroller and linear type controller were designed, and mixed type controller wasdevised based on ANN theory. Simulation model of shifting process was controlled bythese three types of controller, analyzes simulation results comparatively, and itverifies the correctness of the simulation model and the superiority of DCT and theusefulness of the controller designed.
