| In this study 60 Xingyi ducks were selected in order to understand the relationship between single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)and slaughter Traits in Xingyi duck.Direct sequencing of PCR,mixed DNA pool and PCR-SSCP methods were used in this research. Myostatin(MSTN), Myogenin(Myo G) and Myocyte enhancer factor 2A(MEF2A)gene were used as candidate genes for slaughter traits.The main research results were as follows.(1)The result of the analysis of Myostatin(MSTN) gene, The results showed that there were 8 single nucleotide polymorphism sites(SNPs) in 60 Xingyi ducks.There were 5 mutations in the 1st exon, they were SNP1(G112A),SNP2(A126G),SNP3(G165A),SNP4(C360T),SNP5(C366T),there was no mutation in the second exon and there were 3 mutations in the third exon, they were SNP6(C5339T),SNP7(A5368G),SNP8(C5389A).By correlation analysis between the 8 SNPs and slaughter traits, it showed that there were no significant associations between the genetype and slaughter traits of Xingyi ducks.The result of this study could enrich MSTN gene’s research data and provide reference for duck breeding.(2)The result of the inspection of Myogenin(MyoG) gene,The results showed that there were 6 SNPs in the sample groups, they were SNP1(G238C)and SNP2(C397G)in exon 1.The SNP3(C1131T)in exon 3.The exon 5 include SNP4(G2896A),SNP5(G2920A),SNP6(C2947T),SNP7(G2977C).Correlation analysis between SNPs and slaughter traits was carried out by fixed effects model. The results show that SNP1 have significant correlation with breast meatpercentage(P<0.05).The SNP3 have significant correlation with l eviscerated percentage( P <0.05).The SNP7 have significant correlation with eviscerated weight and allevisceratedpercentage(P<0.05).(3)The result of the inspection in Myocyte enhancer factor 2A(MEF2A)gene,The result showed that there were no SNPs in 10 exons. |
