27 Chinese Holstein bull calves within 3d old from the same source randomly divided into three groups and were fed with 40%, 55% and 70% non-milk protein instead of milk protein in milk replacer to study of low-milk protein milk replacer and the different plant protein sources for the early weaned bull calves in nutritional and metabolic versus deposition. Low- milk protein milk replacer effect on the early weaned dairy calves. The 18 early weaned bull calves were selected and randomly divided into three groups, which the remaining nine have been slaughtered to do bioassays rumen development., the experiment was performed by applying different protein source of SBM, 1/2SBM+1/2CGM, CGM, to research and determination the effect of the different protein sources on the growth and development of early weaning calves, and got on the digestion and metabolism test at the 102 to 112 and 118 to 126 days with collecting total faces and urine. In this research, Chinese Holstein bull calves were used as animal model for early-weaning to study performance and the regulation of nutrition(protein, EE and energy) metabolism and deposition for the purpose of providing technical parameters the artificial cultivation of early-weaning Chinese Holstein female calves and the beef resource utilization of Chinese Holstein male calves. The results show that modified plant protein and modified starch as early weaning on behalf of protein and energy were the main source of milk material, 3 weeks early weaning, the items of calves fed 70% of non-milk-derived protein replacement ratio are all non-significant different with the other two. The items include the body weight, average daily gain, dry matter intake, digestibilities of crude protein, ether extract, Carbohydrate, the deposition of crude protein, ether extract, and the rate of DE/GE, ME/DE, NEp/ME. 0~8 weeks’ ADG is 654.00g; the daily deposition of protein and ether extract are 123.96 g, 148.00 g. Digestibilities of crude protein, ether extract, Carbohydrate are 74.20%、95.68%、87.64%; the rate of DE/GE, ME/DE, NEp/ME are 86.53%, 95.72%, 40.81%. it showed that the modified plant protein and modified starch as the main source of early weaning on behalf of milk protein material and energy, respectively, 70% of non-protein milk replacer can Manglietia seedling Chinese Holstein calves normal digestion and metabolism and achieve 3 weeks early weaning age and the total amount of breast-feeding is 98.96 kg.To vegetable protein feed SBM, 1/2SBM+1/2CGM, CGM as the main protein source, corn is the main energy source, the results show that the growth effects of corn gluten meal or slightly better than the meal soybean meal and corn gluten meal each meet 1/2 protein treatment(p> 0.05). The average daily gain of 2 to 4 months for calves 1016.13 g, average daily gain of 4 to 6 months old calves for 1259.56g; daily protein and fat deposition amount of 225.09 g,393.74 g. Calves of protein, fat, carbohydrate and total energy digestibility were 65.33%, 74.95%, 69.32% and 69.17%, digestion can be converted to metabolic energy efficiency is 86.69%, crude protein and digestible energy metabolism were deposition efficiency 50.28% and 45.00%. It show that corn gluten meal containing nutrients due to low antigen for early weaning Chinese Holstein male calves with better utilization and conversion efficiency of digestion. In summary, the alternative proportion of the non-milk protein up to70%, the average daily gain of bull calves of 0 to 8 weeks old reached 654.00 g, and have a good growth effect and achieved three weeks early weaning and the total amount of breast-feeding no more than 100 kg with the modified vegetable protein and modified starches were early weaning milk replacer main source of protein and energy. the average daily gain up to 1136.00 g of the early weaned calves with 2 to 6 months, which results in the growth of corn gluten meal deal with energy, protein conversion efficiency slightly better. Therefore, corn gluten meal can be used an ideal protein source as early weaned calves. The price of corn gluten meal is lower than the meal when the same protein were provided, and corn gluten meal is more suitable protein sources as a bull calf feed because of the group grow better.
