Two experiments were conducted to test the effects of milk replacer and compound protein on performance and blood parameters hi lambs and growth sheep. The research of feed with milk replacer on early-weaning lamb: 24 newborn lambs were divided into 4 groups with 6 in each group. Regarded the first group as control group, fed with milk; the second, the third and the forth group fed with 3 kinds of milk replacer with different digestible energy and different crude protein (confect myself): the second group is high digestible energy and high crude protein (HEHP), its nutrient level is 21.42MJ/kg, 26%; the third group is middle digestible energy and middle crude protein (MEMP), its nutrient level is 18.9MJ/kg, 24%; the forth group is low digestible energy and low crude protein (LELP), its nutrient level is 16.38MJ/kg, 22%. The effect of different digestible energy and different crude protein level to diarrhea rate, death rate, weight gain, changes of body size, nutrient digestion rate and blood biochemistry index of lambs were studied in the experiment. Data was analyzed with SPSS 11.0 and Excel 2000. During the experiment, there is no death of lambs, and the death rate is 0% of 4 groups. In 3 groups feed with milk replacer, the diarrhea rate of HEHP group and LELP group is 0%, lower than control group, which is 7.32%; but the diarrhea rate of MEMP group is 7.93%, higher than control group. The average daily gain of control group, HEHP group, MEMP group, LELP group is 151.25g, 193.00g, 160.50g, 107.00g, respectively: the average daily gain of HEHP group is higher than control group (p<0.05); but the average daily gain of LELP group is lower than control group (p<0.05), and lower than the other two groups evidently, too (p<0.01); the average daily weight gain of MEMP group and control group have no diversity (p>0.05). The changes of body height, body inclined length and body chest circumference has no diversity (p>0.05), except that LELP group lowers than control group and HEHP group (p<0.05). Blood glucose and total protein (TP) of HEHP group is evidently higher than the other groups (p<0.01); blood urea nitrogen (BUN) of MEMP group is highest, has evident diversity with control group and LELP group (p<0.01), and also has diversity with HEHP (p<0.05); albumin (ALB) of 4 groups have no diversity (p>.05). Synthetically analysis indicates that the feeding effect of HEHP group is the best, and may be regarded as the reference in practice. The research of compound protein on sheep: 5-month-old sheep were divided into 3 groups randomly with 8 ewes and 2 rams in each group. Regard the firstgroup as control group, according to material composition of local farm feeding these sheep, the second group and the third group respectively feed with the diet which added 4% compound protein and 8% compound protein, there were the same nutrient composition in the 3 groups. The experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of supplementation with compound protein on performance, the digestion rate of nutrient and blood biochemistry index. The results indicate that average daily gain of 4% compound protein diet evidently higher than control diet (p<0.05), but the 8% compound protein diet produced no significant diversity (p>0.05), while the cost of feeding with 8%compound protein lower than the other two groups. There is the nearly same nutrient digestion rate, it has no diversity (p>0.05). The level of blood urea nitrogen (BUN), albumin (ALB) and blood glucose has an increased trend in the second group, but the diversity is not distinct (p>0.05); but total protein (TP) of the second group is 48.64g/L, higher than the first group with 42.86g/L and the third group with 42.89g/L (p<0.05). The synthetic analysis indicate: during the whole period, the net income of the group fed with 4% compound protein was 13.66 higher man the contrast group, the 8% compound protein group was 4.32 higher than the contrast group. Therefore, using compound protein can evidently raise the economic income and the 4% compound protein is the best.
