Along with main form of facility agriculture in China changing from small plastic greenhouses to large-scale greenhouses and plant factories with modern facilities, how to make local crop growth environment harmonious and unified through effective environment monitoring and regulation so as to realize intelligent large-scale production of advanced agricultural facilities, has become the focus of research on modern facility agriculture.In view of the present facilities agricultural environment information monitoring covers small area, has low level of integration and mainly relies on artificial observation, this paper has completed the system overall design conception based on studying related facilities agriculture iot technology architecture and wireless communication technology of the environmental perception terminal, further implemented design of the motherboard, the extended wireless data transmission module, the OLED-keys board and the software platform such as sensors’ drivers and the human-computer interaction control programming. In the end experiments and analysis were done on the whole machine function and reliability.The design based on iot make the superlow power consumption MCU TI’s MSP430F2418 as the core for realizing all-round monitoring of environment information, carrying sensors such as ISL29013 and COZIR. Meanwhile, the design integrated with two kinds of wireless communication technologies in data transmission, GSM/GPRS and Wi-Fi, has realized the sensor threshold overrun alarm by SMS, wireless data remote transmitting by GPRS and intermediate and short-range network access by Wi-Fi. It’s advantageous for users monitoring in static or moving condition from the remote monitoring center server or handheld terminal. Power control is another feature, it realizes system running in low consumption mode through device selection and software control. For example its current consumption is 40~50m A in dormancy mode. Better than most of current collection equipments, it can work in large plots or farms under agricultural production environment.
