Yili reclamation area is the gold zone of corn seed production in xinjiang, where have the advantage of the suitable climate conditions, mechanized production and the scale of the operation. There has created several high yield of corn seed production in xinjiang. Because of the lack of scientific division and the countermeasures of the high and stable production technology, the high reproducibility is poor, and it can’t achieve sustainable high yield. The study of ecological regions for seed production in Yili reclamation area,is helpful to use and mining of natural resources and to devise high quality and high yield seed production mode. The study will promote the regionalization and industrialization development of corn seed production, and it has important significance to the region development of sustainable high yield of corn seed production.The study use meteorological and geographical factors as the cluster variable factors for 10 consecutive years, such as frost-free season, ≥10 ℃ effective accumulated temperature, 4-9 monthly sunshine hours, tasseling and silking stage, the height above sea level, and so on. The result show that Yili reclamation area for corn seed production would divided into basic unsuitable area, subordinate suitable area, suitable area and the most suitable area, meanwhile we analyzed the problem of every regional seed production, and put forward the countermeasure of sustainable high yield for corn seed production. The main conclusions are as follows:1. Unsuitable corn seed production area covered the 79 group. The meteorological factors of the region is that more than 10 of annual accumulated temperature is 3238℃, frost-free season is 135 days, 4-9monthly sunshine hours1901 hours, tasseling and silking stage20.1℃, air temperature of Tasseling, silking stage and pustulation period is slightly lower than the other region. The average yield of the region is approximately 5250 kg/hm2. This region isn’t suitable for corn seed production, and can only plant early variety. In this region the management measures take promoting early as the center, to ensure the normal mature, we should strengthen the construction of the bleachery, drying equipment and other facilities, in order to improve the quality of seeds.2. Subordinate suitable area for corn seed production area covered the 71, 72, 73 group. The meteorological factors of the region is that more than 10 of annual accumulated temperature is 3652℃,frost-free season is 175 days, 4-9 monthly sunshine hours 1915 hours, tasseling and silking stage 21.4℃,The air temperature of Tasseling and silking stage is appropriate, but the air temperature of pustulation period is slightly lower. The average yield of the region is approximately 6750 kg/hm2. According to the technology roadmap of “Short, dense, early, film, control”, we should perfect the regulations of cultivation technology and strengthen the technical training, in order to improve the technical level of the technicians and workers. To ensure improve the quality of the seed production and to promote the development of seed production base, we should make the best of ancillary equipment, drying equipment and drying yard.3. Suitable corn seed production area covered the 61, 62, 64 group. The meteorological factors of the region is that more than 10 of annual accumulated temperature is 3915℃, frost-free season is 195 days, 4-9monthly sunshine hours1940 hours, tasseling and silking stage25.1℃, The air temperature of tasseling and silking stage is appropriate, and the speed of pustulation period is quickly. The average yield of the region is approximately 7200-8250 kg/hm2.To promote the industry of maize seed production in this region, we must promote“Short, dense, early, film” as the core technology, meanwhile we should strengthen investment and construction effort of the base of the bleachery, seed selection, and ear drying equipment.According to meteorological condition division, we should choose the right combination of seed production,and do the introduction experiment, in order to improve the yield and benefit of seed production.4. The most suitable corn seed production area covered the 66, 67, 70 group. The meteorological factors of the region is that more than 10 of annual accumulated temperature is 3781℃, frost-free season is189 days, 4-9 monthly sunshine hours1941 hours, tasseling and silking stage24.9℃, The air temperature of tasseling, silking stage and pustulation period is appropriate, which is suitable for maize pollination. The average yield of the region is more than7500 kg/hm2.In order to furtherance the development of sustainable high yield of corn seed production, we should reasonable adjust of planting structure, and assurance of corn planting area. To further increase the high yield technique of study and transforming promotion efforts, we must carry on comprehensive study and demonstration, such as establishing standardized breeding base,strengthen the emasculation technique, flowering regulation technology, chemical control technique, and water saving technology. We should strengthen the management of seed production of maize planting and establish brand advantage, in order to improve yield, to ensure the quality of seeds, to increase economic efficiency, and to stable seed corn planting area.
