The Study Of Eco-garden City Construction In Ganzhou City

while brought enormous wealth for human being, the rapid development of municipal modernization has also cost us dearly in terms of environmental pollution and ecological degradation. Environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems facing mankind today. For this reason, it has become the consensus of global that how to effectively control the environmental pollution and improve the quality of the urban environment in order to realize the sustainable and harmonious development of the city’s economy, society and ecology. The theory of ecological city emerge on the basis of this background that the ecological development mode must be chosen to keep the sustainable development of city. As the inevitable trend of the future development of the city, ecological city has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad. To better the city’s comprehensive competitiveness and be at the forefront in the new round of the competition environment, Ganzhou, being the deputy center city of Jiangxi Province, must promote the ecological construction of city along with the acceleration of the urban construction.The project was performed utilizing multiple branches of knowledge (system theory, ecology, environmental theory, economics), combinating with macroscopic and microscopic/qualitative and quantitative methods, according to the principle of integrating theory with practice, and combining with field investigation. To gather first-hand information about the ecological-garden city construction in Ganzhou, we interviewed Urban Management Bureau, Gardens Bureau, Sanitation Department, Public works office, Planning and Construction Bureau, Planning and Design Institute, hydrological bureau, weather bureau, Environmental protection agency, industry and information technology bureau, forestry bureau, statistical bureau, land and resources bureau, and Agricultural Bureau of Ganzhou through the investigation, symposia, questionnaire. On the basis of the previous research findings and the comprehensive review of domestic and foreign city ecological construction theory and practice achievement, the article analyzed the current situation, condition, the prevailing problems of the construction of ecology garden city and their causes in Ganzhou, studied and pointed out the strategic ideology, the short-term and long-term construction goals, main countermeasures and means about the construction of "Ecological Ganzhou". It will provide the basis and reference for the concrete policies、 rational layout and resource allocation of the ecological urban construction, eliminating environmental pollution, protecting the ecological environment, strengthening the city ecological beauty, improving quality of the municipal city, cultivating city characteristics, promoting the economic development of the city, implementing the Ecological Garden City and realizing the sustainable socio-economic development.
