Leizhu Bamboo Groves Soil Status And Management Countermeasures In Taihuyuan Town Of Linan City

Soil testing and formulated fertilization is the core technology of scientific fertilization. By implementing this technology, the soil can be well improved and fertilized, and the soil pollution will be prevented. It’s an economical way to realize the goal of “Environment-Friendly”.Phyllostachy praecox f. prevernalis is native to Zhejiang including Lin’an,Yuhang and Deqing. What’s more, it is a kind of popular edible bamboo shoots. However, the degradation of the soil and the decline of the bamboo forests are very serious because of the blind fertilization in the process of artificial management. That’s why it’s much more urgent to research and spread the soil testing and formulated fertilizationIn the study, 239 soil samples were collected from Taihuyuan of Lin’an. The following 5 indicators of the soil were measured: soil organic carbon、alkali-hydrolyzable N,available P,available K and pH. The single index method and linear smoothing algorithm were used to grade the comprehensive fertility of the soil. The results show that the Grade I,II,III,IV of comprehensive fertility of the soil have been estimated to be 9%、22%、30% and 39%, respectively inTaihuyuan from Leizhu bamboo groves.The problems of the soil manifest that soil has been acidified and nutrition such as N, P, K has been overloaded and imbalanced.We get the cognition and demand of farmers on the Soil testing and formulated fertilization by conducting questionnaire survey(257 recalled valid questionnaires) among farmers. And the findings tell us that 89.1% of surveyed farmers understand this technology. Among them, 60.7% is informed by the government propaganda and 52.8% thinks highly of it.We suggest that it’s necessary to promote the application of soil testing and formulated fertilization in the management of the forest land which contains preventing soil acidified by using quicklime, using special fertilizer properly, abandoning phosphate, reconstructing the structure of soil by adding more soil, covering reasonably and so on. The government should promote and complete the spreading system of this technology. More specific funds should be invested and supervision system should be set up.
