Scolothrips takahashii is a very nice predator.lt can feed on Tetranychus cinnabarinus and so on many kinds of spider mites, so it can control the population development of Tetranychus cinnabarinus, to achieve the effect of biological control. This paper studys by Scolothrips takahashii and Tetranychus cinnabarinuss as the research object, setted the experimental population life table of Tetranychus cinnabarinuss and Scolothrips takahashii, and studied the controlling effect of Scolothrips takahashii to Tetranychus cinnabarinuss. The main results were as follows:1. Setted the experimental population life table of Tetranychus cinnabarinus and Scolothrips takahashiiSetted the experimental population life table of Tetranychus cinnabarinus and Scolothrips takahashii at 5 constant temperatures(19,22,25,28 and 31℃). The results shows that Tetranychus cinnabarinus and Scolothrips takahashii both can complete their life history in experimental set temperature conditions. Compared the life table parameters of experimental population for Tetranychus cinnabarinus, the results shows that, the range of the fittest temperature for Tetranychus cinnabarinus to propagate was 25-31℃,and the fittest temperature for Tetranychus cinnabarinus to propagate was 28℃.But Compared the life table parameters of experimental population for Scolothrips takahashii, the results shows that, the range of the fittest temperature for Scolothrips takahashii to propagate was 25~31℃, the fittest temperature for Scolothrips takahashii to grow was 31℃ and the fittest temperature for Scolothrips takahashii to propagate was 28℃.2.The controlling effect of Scolothrips takahashii to Tetranychus cinnabarinusStudied the predation functional responses of the adult of Scolothrips takahashii towards Tetranychus cinnabarinus at 5 constant temperatures(19,22,25,28 and 31℃),and analyse the parameters (a、Th、Namax and a/Th) of the functional responses. The result showed that the controlling effect (a/Th) of Scolothrips takahashii to Tetranychus cinnabarinus was more and more stronger with the increase of temperature, and 31℃ was the best temperature for Scolothrips takahashii to control Tetranychus cinnabarinus.Multiplication numerical response of Scolothrips takahashii to Tetranychus cinnabarinus,,scilicet the relationship between Scolothrips takahashii female adult and Tetranychus cinnabarinus. The results prove that:In Tetranychus cinnabarinus density range, with the prey density increases, the average fecundity also will increase. At 5 temperatures, predator to prey is 1:50,2:50,3:50,4:50,5:50 studied Scolothrips takahashii response to the female of Tetranychus cinnabarinus, the relationship with female adult female mite mite density. With the increase in the number Scolothrips takahashii, Tetranychus cinnabarinus is completely controlled significantly shorter, as the temperature rises, although mite population fecundity increases, but the efficiency of Scolothrips takahashii increased faster mite populations are controlled. When the destiny is 1:50 and 2:50,the control of Scolothrips takahashii is slowly, with the increase of Scolothrips takahashii, it can control the increase trend of Tetranychus cinnabarinus in a short time.3. The effect of Mite state to the growth and multiply of Scolothrips takahashii at different temperatureWhen Scolothrips takahashii to Tetranychus cinnabarinus is from 1:5 to 1:20, the results show that with the increase of density, with the increase of temperature, the development period of Scolothrips takahashii is shorten, under the higher temperature, higher density, the development of age period of Scolothrips takahashii is shorter in the development period of plenty of food. But the influence of mite state to the proportion of female, production rate and egg hatchability of Scolothrips takahashii was not significant.
