Neoseiulus californicus prey on pests of Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval), Eotetranychus kankitus (Ehara), Panonychus ctri AaGregorand so on. The research object of this paper was Neoseiulus californicus Studied on the controlling effect of Neoseiulus californicus against Tetranychus cinnabarinus and setting up its reproductive life table of experimental population. The main results are the following:1. The identification of Neoseiulus californicusA unknown predatory was identified as Neoseiulus californicus by morphological analysis and ITS sequence alignment.Based on comparative analysis of the 11 phytoseiidae mites ITS sequences (including obtained ITS sequences of 10 phytoseiidae mites from Genbank) and understanding of the phylogenetic relationships among species.Though the ITS phylogenetic trees show that Neoseiulus and Phytoseiulus had close relationship. NJ trees was shown Galendromus as a separate branch Was diatant genetic relationship with the others. In this study 11 phytoseiidae mites were the same family in different genera, using ITS sequences can better build their molecular phylogenetic tree, to understand their genetic relationships. It also shows that ITS gene can solve the phytoseiidae Mite species of the genus between the low-order element phylogeny.2. Setted the experimental population life table of Neoseiulus californicus.Setted the experimental population life table of Neoseiulus californicus. at 5 constant temperature(19,22,25,28, and 31℃). The results shows that Neoseiulus californicus can complete its life history in experimental set temperature conditions. Compared the life table parameters of experimental population for Neoseiulus californicus.,the results shows that, the range of the fittest temperature for Neoseiulus californicus to propagate was 25-31℃,and the fittest temperature for Neoseiulus californicus to propagate was31℃.3. Effected of temperature on functional response ofNeoseiulus californicus.Studied of the growth and development of Neoseiulus californicus in 19,22,25,28 and31℃ for five temperature conditions. The results shows that, the developmental duration of Neoseiulus californicus was shortened with temperature increasing. The developmental duration of the generation of the mite are respectively 14.84,10.03,8.16,6.42and 5.69 under different temperature conditions. Fitted the relationship between developmental rate and temperature of Neoseiulus californicus by the linear model and logistic model, the results shows that, Logistic model can well describe the the relationship between developmental rate and temperature of Neoseiulus californicus.4.The controlling effect of Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinusFunctional responses of Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus:Studied the functional responses of the adult of Neoseiulus californicus towards Tetranychus cinnabarinus at different stages. It was found that the functional responses of Neoseiulus californicus were all belonged to Holling Ⅱ types. The result showed that the controlling effect of Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus larva and nymph was stronger than Tetranychus cinnabarinus adult and egg compared the functional response parameter a, Th, Namax. and a/Th at different stages.Studied the predation functional response of the adult Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus at adult in the experimental temperature range (19~31℃). The results showed that the functional response of Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus at different stages was belonged to Holling II types in different temperatures. From compared the functional response parameter a, Th,Namax and a/Th, the result showed that, the controlling effect of Neoseiulus californicus. to Tetranychus cinnabarinus was increased with temperature increasing in 19~28℃, Neoseiulus californicus can better control the Tetranychus cinnabarinus in 25~28℃.Setted the experimental population life table of Neoseiulus californicus and Tetranychus cinnabarinus at 28℃. The results shows that The latter is slightly larger than the former one in parameter rm and λ. Neoseiulus californicus is released when Tetranychus cinnabarinus is low density region that can effectively control Tetranychus cinnabarinus.Multiplication numerical response of Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus, scilicet the relationship between Neoseiulus californicus female adult mites fecundity and Tetranychus cinnabarinus density. The results prove that:In Tetranychus cinnabarinus density range, with the prey density increases, the average fecundity also will increase. When the number of Tetranychus cinnabarinus female adult mites>2, Neoseiulus californicus to normal spawning. Only when the number of Tetranychus cinnabarinus female adult mites>12, the Neoseiulus californicus fecundity in order to achieve the standard fecundity. Feeding Tetranychus cinnabarinus female adult mites, Neoseiulus californicus 10 days before spawning period can produce up to 25 eggs.Neoseiulus californicus have a different selectivity to Tetranychus cinnabarinus mite states:it is palatability to Tetranychus cinnabarinus nymph and larva, but for the Tetranychus cinnabarinus eggs and adult mites showed non-palatability. Under living space and the number of Tetranychus cinnabarinus conditions consistent. Neoseiulus californicus density increase, Tetranychus cinnabarinus predator decreased significantly, the interference effect between predators obvious.Analysis and comparison between phytoseiid mite and Neoseiulus sp. for morphology ITS sequences. It was identified to be Neoseiulus californicus. This article studies the effects of different temperatures on growth and development of Neoseiulus californicus fed on Tetranychus cinnabarinus and the controlling effect of Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus. The result shows that, The range of the fit temperature for Neoseiulus californicus at diffenent stages to develop was 19~31℃. the range of the fittest temperature for Neoseiulus californicus to propagate was 25~31℃,and the fittest temperature for Neoseiulus californicus to propagate was 28~31℃. Neoseiulus californicus can better control the Tetranychus cinnabarinus in 25~31℃.The result showed that the controlling effect of Neoseiulus californicus to Tetranychus cinnabarinus larva and nymph was stronger than Tetranychus cinnabarinus adult and egg. it is also palatability to Tetranychus cinnabarinus nymph and larva, as the car density is low, Neoseiulus californicus female can lay eggs every day normally. It has important implications for it to maintain population numbers. The result also shows that, Neoseiulus californicus is released when Tetranychus cinnabarinus is low density region that can effectively control Tetranychus cinnabarinus.
