The corn seedling transplanting technology is an important cultivation method for getting the high corn yield, which cold take full advantage of the sun and the farming season, prevent corn from nature disaster. Because the traditional field transplanting machine is based of artificial feeding type semi-automatic transplanting machinery, with the disadvantages of low efficiency and high labor cost, and mainly foreign automatic transplanting machine has a complex structure, price expensive and high maintenance costs, consequently automatic transplanting machine is difficult to be promoted widely in the our country. To solve the above problem, the research group relying on the transplanting technology of rice planting bowl-seedling, and on work characteristics of high-speed the rice transplanter, a transplanting machine for corn planting bowl-seedling was developed, which was based on the transplanting technology of planting bowl-seedling.In this paper, based on the study of the mechanical performances of the corn planting bowl-seedling growing tray, and on exploratory test of last transplanting mechanism for corn planting bowl-seedling, a kind of clamping tape transplanting mechanism was designed, which is suitable for corn transplanting machine for planting bowl-seedling. This mechanism can automatically and independently achieve taking seedlings, transport seedlings and planting seedling in a working cycle, which is stable and reliable and has simple structure. The main content and conclusions are as follows:(1) Through the experimental study on mechanical performance and influence factors of corn planting bowl-seedling tray, a theoretical model of the mechanical analysis was established. That provide the raw data and the theoretical basis for the clamping and throwing seedling angle of transplanting mechanism selected.(2) According to working principle of transmission system of corn transplanting mechanism in planetary gear system and physical characteristics of corn planting bowl-seedling tray, clamping tape corn transplanting mechanism was designed, analyzing and establishing the kinematics model of this mechanism, mechanism kinematics analyzed. Structure character and movement mechanism of this mechanism was deeply analyzed and summarized. (3) Three-dimensional simulation model of clamping tape corn transplanting mechanism for planting bowl-seedling was established, using ADAMS to analyze each motion parameters of this model and verifying the correctness of the kinematics mathematical model and rationality of this structure. (4) Taking degree of corn seedling upright as test indicators, taking forward speed, the angle of seedling box, the vertical inclination of casting seedlings and clamping angle of seedling knife as test factors, the orthogonal rotation combination test of transplanting mechanism has been taken, the influence law of main parameters of clamping tape transplanting mechanism on upright degree of corn seedling has been analyzed, the mathematic model of main parameters of transplanting mechanism and evaluation index has been established, the optimization solution has been concluded by way of using MatLab software. The working reliability and rationality of clamping tape transplanting mechanism in the process of corn seedling transplanting has been proved by confirmatory tests. The determination of the best parameters combination of transplanting mechanism to ensure higher upright degrees of corn seedling is the forward speed of 0.43m/s, the seedling box horizontal angle of 22°, casting seedlings vertical inclination of 17.54 ° and seeding knife clamping angle of 18.21°...
