Brucellosis is a zoonosis, which not only caused great economic loss to livestock breeding, but also to people’s health. Brucellosis diagnostic tests including etiological diagnosis, serological testing and molecular biology methods. Especially, serological tests are widely used all over the world for their rapidity, accuracy, effectiveness and safety. It is very significant to find a suitable method to detect the infection of brucellosis.Luliang of Yunnan, the forth large dairy goats breeding country, have faced the threat of brucellosis for a long time. Serological detection and questionnaire survey were used to investigate the epidemic conditions of brucellosis infection and associated factors, which will lay the theory foundation for effective prevention and control of brucellosis.1. Comparison of three serological diagnosis tests of brucellosisAccording to the standard of China and OIE, SAT, cELISA and CFT are widely used three serological diagnosis tests for brucellosis. In this study,200 backround known serum samples were tested by this three methods. Results showed the sensitivities and specificity of SAT, cELISA, CFT were 86.21% and 90.48%,96.35% and 95.24%,70.07% and 93.65%, respectively. It is evident that the sensitivity and specificity of cELISA is higher than those of SAT and CFT, making it to be the first choice in large diagnosis.2 Epidemiological investigation of dairy goats in Luliang of YunnanOne thousand and seventeen serum samples in 55 dairy goats groups from three most representative towns of Luliang were tested in this study. Serological experiment indicated the positive rate of dairy goats is 10.78% in Damogu whose dairy goats account for more than 70% of the county, much higher than the Xiaobaihu (5.03%) and Majie (3.90%). The rate of brucellosis positive in larger group was significantly higher than that of small. The questionnaire survey result found the infective animals are an important factor in brucellosis spreading..3 Identification of Brucella strains isotype isolated from aborted fetusesA Brucella strain isolated from aborted fetuses, named LL-1, was Brucella melitensis biovar 3 identified by the real-time PCR. It indicated that Brucella melitensis biovar 3 may be spread in dairy goat. So, when dealing with abortion fetuses and sick animal, relevant personnel need to do more to protect themselves.
