Serological Investigation Of Four Common Goat Infectious Diseases In Hunan Province

With the development of goat breeding industry,goat infectious diseases have brought huge losses.The goat infectious diseases are the main problem faced by the goat breeding in Hunan province.They are very difficult to prevent and control because they contain some characteristics including a variety of transmission channels,serious harm and easy to spread.In this experiment,serological investigation of four common infectious diseases in Hunan province was carried out,including goat infectious mycoplasma mycoides subsp,peste des petits ruminants,brucellosis and toxoplasmosis.The peste des petits ruminants and mycoplasma mycoidessubsp are goat's malignant infectious diseases,which both are very harmful to goat breeding.Toxoplasmosis and brucellosis are common zoonoses,which both are great threat to public health security.The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the incidence,immune situation and prevention and control problems of these four common goat infectious diseases in Hunan Province..A total of 10080 samples were collected from416 goat farms in 59 cities and counties in our province.We collected 720 samples in each city from 299 scale farms and 117 backyard households.The results showed that the incidence of Peste des petits ruminants(PPR)in Hunan Province is low,and the positive rate of antibody of PPR in Hunan province is 60.32% less than 70%.According to the national standard,PPR in Hunan Province doesn't have good protection and still have a high risk.Brucellosis still occur in parts of Hunan Province,the incidence rate was lower than the average of the previous decade..However,the disease in Hunan Province is not immuned andantibody positive rate is low.There is always a high risk of Brucellosis..Immunization rate of Mycoplasma capricolum is low,which lead to the province's overall positive rate of only 62.54% and high risk of disease.But the vaccine immunization pass rate of Mycoplasma capricolum is good and the value reachs87.54%.Toxoplasmosis has a high antibody positive rate,which indicates the incidence rate of the disease in Hunan Province is high.There are significant differences in goat antibody positive rates among different age groups,which shows the susceptibility of goats to Toxoplasma gondii in different growth stages is significantly different.
