Rice direct seeding is a way of cultivation that do not need to raise rice seedlings and transplanting but seeds to drip directly. The intensity of labor of the way is lower compared to the rice planting, it can effectively alleviate the problem of shortage of labor in rice cultivation period, shorten the growth period and the production of large area production was about 5% higher than conventional transplanting rice.Our country and abroad have done a lot of research on grain direct seeding machine, At present the rice direct seeding machine in our country adopts the traditional seed-metering device mostly, it means that one seed metering device for one line of seeds, which has low working efficiency, the structure is bloated, seeds are prone to damage in the process of delivery. Although some hydraulic, electronic and other new technology has been applied on a live machine makes the seeding of the reliability and efficiency has been greatly improved,these devices are mostly have complicated structure and high price, they are not suitable for our country’s agricultural industry. This paper intends to do the research on key techniques and test of set-row hand rice direct seeding planter, to innovate the structure of seeding equipment, Under the premise of guarantee the simple of machine structure to improve rice seeding efficiency and uniformity, and reduce the damage of seeds. The main research content is as follows:1) Analyzed the research status of planter at home and abroad and the application status of common seed-metering device, combining the agronomic requirements of our rice direct seeding innovate the key structure of the seeding machine, put forward a new kind of global design of set-row hand rice direct seeding planter, determined the main working parameters:sowing 8 line at one time, the sow spaced is 25~30cm, the range of operating speed is1~3km/h, the efficiency is 3.6~18mu/h.2) Calculating the drive system and the seed-metering device of parameter of the seed-sowing machines, design the whole machine’s structure which include the frame, the box of seed, the seed discharging system, power transmission system and the guide pipe of seed.3) Based on EDEM discrete element simulation software to simulate metering system working’s condition, And according to the simulation results obtained preliminary the variable coefficient of all the lines displacement consistency was 3.04%。According to the orthogonal experiment method the metering system’s several influential factors on seed uniformity degree, from high to low, is that: Funnel’s caliber d, Funnel’s bevel ?, subulate seed allot dish’s angle ?. The test conditions for the optimal parameter combination was that:d ?24mm, ? ?50?, ? ?45?, at this moment, the theoretical variable coefficient of all the lines displacement consistency was ? ?1.88%.Developing the proto of set-row hand rice direct seeding planter and testing The main performance parameters on the basis of the structure design and simulation in combination with the actual capacity. According to the test results getting the variable coefficient of the total displacement stability was 1.18%, the variable coefficient of all the lines displacement consistency was 3.15%, the variable coefficient of seeding uniformity was 20.04% and the breakage of seed was 0.32%, all of which meet the national test standard of grain planter and it can meet the agronomic requirements of rice direct seeding well.
