Siberian larch (Larix sibirica Ledeb.) is the largest number of natural coniferous forest tree species in Altai Mountains. Using Altai natural coniferous forest, we want to determination growth regulation and biomass of the Siberian larch, and to enrich the Siberian larch vacancy and insufficient relevant information growth regulation. In our study, we have measured the growth and biomass of trees factors by field survey. Field investigation include:setting plots, investigations the diameter distribution, and using analysis method to obtain the number of needles by foliage and check number. In trees chest heights, we drilled a certain number of tree rings. By using allometric equation model, a tree biomass models were established. The results are as follows:(1) Through high-growth and radial growth process of trees analysis, we found Siberian larch height of vigorous growth and the growing season is radially spaced, vigorous growth of trees may be high at the time of its diameter≦ 25cm, and its diameter after the vigorous growth of more than 25cm diameter at chest height of between 55cm-70cm.(2) The average of growth increment for diameter is 0.18cmyr-1 and the average of growth increment for volume is 0.007m3yr-1 in stand.(3) According to the measured data of various organs of trees, we established an independent factor of biomass model, the coefficient of determination trees biomass model was greater than 0.93, the effect of the model is better.(4) Total volume of sample is 271.90m3, total area volume is 356.35m3/hm2.The plot biomass is 155tons, and the area biomass is 203t/hm2.(5) The carbon density of Siberian larch tree is 101. t/hm2 and the carbon storage of Siberian larch tree is 4.811TgC.
