In recent years, the development of persimmon industry in China is relatively rapid,production has increased observably. Especially non-astringent persimmon has been widespread grown in appropriate cultivation zones. But different structure, age and cultivation of persimmons were applied in different cultivation zones. Meanwhile, they were lacking the scientific and theoretical instructions in period of flower and fruit. Traditional cultivation and management of persimmon is relatively extensive, which lead to the lower production, poorer quality and worse benefits. These is not good at persimmon industry’s healthy development.So our experiment was based on the materials collected from National Field Genebank for Persimmon of China. We conducted the flower and fruit management and investigated the fruiting habit, which was intend to supply the scientific theory foundation for cultivation and management in producing and accelerated the development of persimmon industry. The main results showed that:1. Compared with different types of fruiting base shoots in Youhou, the results were that generating the bearing basal shoot had positive correlation with their length; Within a certain length, the branch thicker and the fruiting branch more. In addition, the bearing basal shoot is formed from bud differentiation and the fruiting ability of slant branches was better.2. Before emergence of normal Youhou, bud thinning was conducted on fruiting base shoots. The results showed bud thinning can decrease the percentage of fruiting branch in new branches observably, that is increasing the leaf-fruit ratio and ensuring the necessary nutrition in fruit growth and development. Compared with contrast, there were markedly increased in the rate of seat fruit, weight of single fruit and soluble solid. Meanwhile, the rate of inferior fruit was decreased and commodity rate of fruit was improved.3. The best time to spraying hormone for persimmon is full-bloom stage and young fruit stage, which can hugely improve the set fruit percentage. The result of different hormone treats in the percentage of set fruits showed that brassinolide can improve the set fruit percentage significantly in Huaxianmaokui, lichengdamianhu, Japan late Gosho, Jiro Japan,Jinping persimmon, Qiuzhengbing and Diospyros nitida. Brassinolide was also effective for Qiyuexian, but the last results the set fruit percentage was 25%,which was not better than other materials. Gibberellin could improve the set fruit percentage of Jinping persimmon, Xiaoyiniuxin, Qiuzhengbing, Diospyros nitida, but it was no influence to othervarieties. Cytokinin just is effective to the set fruit percentage of Xiaoyiniuxin persimmon, the fruit of Qiuzhengbing, but it has no influence to other materials.4.0.05 ppm brassinolide and 100 ppm GA could generally improve the soluble solid contend. 10 ppm cytokinin could significantly improve the weight of single fruit in Xiaoyiniuxin persimmon and Jiro persimmon.
