Combined with previous three years of cultivation research, a lot of indexs of 31 SP4 generation space mutation Cassia and control were measured,main agronomic traits such as plant high, stem diameter, crown width, branch number, pod number, yield, 1000 grain weight;physiology index like leaf chlorophyll content;cassia seed characteristics like germination rate, seed hard rate, relative electric conductivity and the content of effective components such as aurantio obtusin and chrysophanol.athe effect about Cassia plant biological characteristics,physiological and biochemical indexes and the content of effective components caused by space mutation were disscused and excellent Cassia mutant lines with high yield, high quality and genetically stable were screened The main results are as follows:1.The germination rate of SP4 generation of space mutation was lower than the control, the growth period of space group was earlier than the control group about 810 days.2.The plant height, stem diameter, crown width, branch number, plant pods number and1000 grain weight of 2,9,21,28,29,37,41,49 space strains were higher than the control significantly.3.The chlorophyll content of SP4 generation space group was less than that of the control.4.Survey of seed physiology indexes: aerospace group of 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 14, 19, 20, 21, 24,29, 33, 36, 38 and 41 strain germination rate is higher, 44 strains hard rate is highest, relative conductivity of14, 19, 20, 21, 24, 33, 41 strains are significantly or extremely significantly lower than control.5.Yield results:NO. 6, 19, 21, 29, 41,49 strains belong to high yield strain6.Aurantio obtusin content and chrysophanol content of all strains reached the Pharmacopoeia of the people’s Republic of China stipulates. Speclially, the aurantio obtusin content of 17,2,41,28,8,49,19,21,47,37,3,9,32 lines and the chrysophanol content of17,41,2,28,8,19, 49,21,47,37,3,9,14 lines was high than control significantly.7.By studying the the correlation of agronomic traits and yield,cotenr.it turn out that thousand seed weight and per Pod numbe highly correlated with yield followed by the number of branch, crown breadth, plant height, stem diameter.To sum up,NO.2, 9, 21, 28, 29, 37, 41 and 49 strains in agronomic traits is better than the control group and other space.NO. 6, 19, 21, 29, 41 and 49 strains in production is better than that of control group and other space, the aurantio obtusin content and chrysophanol content is highest in seeds, so comprehensively select NO. 2, 6, 9, 17, 19, 21, 28, 29, 37, 41, 49 as important research object of SP5.
