Semen cassiae is a dry and mature seed of Cassia obtusifolia L.or Cassia tora L.,it has the effects of clearing heat and improving eyesight,and is often used in the treatment of hypertension and hyperlipidemia in clinical practice.With the recognition and acceptance of semen cassiae is getting stronger and stronger,the market's demand for it is also increasing.But blindly pursuing production will inevitably reduce the use the value of semen cassiae.So,whether it is the pharmaceutical industry,the food industry,or the industry,there are certain requirements for the quality of semen cassiae.However,due to the threat of the wild growth environment of cassia,mixture of germplasm,unclear varieties,the irregularity of planting,cultivation management and harvesting processing has greatly affected the quality and output of semen cassiae for a long time.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to carry out the breeding of cassia.In addition,cassia is widely known as a medicinal plant,and its medicinal parts are mainly seeds,so the value of other parts is often neglected.According to the previous studies,cassia as a pasture is rich in nutrients that can be used as feed additive or forage after removing its seeds.Thus,it not only opens up a new avenues for cassia research,but also improves the overall utilization of cassia to create the highest value.The research object was carried out by the "Shenzhou 8" satellite and returned to the ground for planting in successive years.By measuring the index that mainly affects the yield and quality of semen cassiae in the fifth year,11 lines were selected from 15 lines for the sixth year of research.This study focused on the field agronomic traits,active ingredient content and nutrient composition of SP6 generation cassia.Comprehensive analysis of field cultivation statistics and content testing,the results are as follows:(1)The SP6 generation cassia grew fastest in July,and the seed characteristics of each line were not much different.From the agronomic traits alone,the line 5 is optimal.In addition,through correlation analysis and path analysis,the direct contribution rate of each trait to yield was found to be pod number > thousand-seeds weight > branch number > leaf area > stem diameter;(2)The content of chrysophanic acid and aurantioobusin in SP6 semen cassiae was determined by high performance liquid chromatography,the results showed only line 3 satisfies the 2015 edition of the Pharmacopoeia.In order to evaluate the quality of semen cassiae more effectively and comprehensively,a full-time three-wavelength fusion map was established,and the content of aloeemodin,emodin-3-methl ether,emodin and rhein was added in the determination.Finally,it is recommended to increase emodin-3-methl ether to improve the quality assessment of semen cassiae;(3)Through correlation analysis between the agronomic traits and active ingredients of SP6 generation cassia,it was found that the correlation between active ingredients and some yield-related traits was not strong or negatively correlated.Using fuzzy mathematics and analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the yield and quality of SP6 generation cassia seeds,it was found that line 1 was the best.Combined with cluster analysis,it is recommended to focus on line 1,line3,line5 and line 6 in the next year;(4)The above-ground part of SP6 generation cassia after harvesting seeds was tested for nutrients,and the results showed that the crude protein content in stems and leaves is 12.36~16.42%,the crude fat content is 8.32~10.09%,the crude fiber content is 7.20~9.52%,the crude ash content is 4.22~5.72%,the calcium content is 0.19~0.33%,the phosphorus content is 0.14~0.23%.It is considered to be useful as an additive or forage.Space mutagenesis can be used as an effective means of cassia breeding,and provides a theoretical basis for further use of space mutation to breed cassia elite lines.Breeding work is a long-term and rigorous work.Under the condition that the offspring do not form stable inheritance,it is necessary to use technical means to track it.In this experiment,a comprehensive evaluation of SP6 generation cassia is carried out in order to select and produce cassia lines with high yield and good quality.And to explore their use value and comprehensive utilization,which can provides a certain foundation for future research.
