With the global penetration of the modern industrial technology to agriculture, each country on the world has a strong interest in the study of agricultural facilities. The application of the cultivating trays in the facility agriculture is also becoming more and more extensive. But there are still many problems in the cleaning of the cultivating trays. Manual cleaning spends a lot of time, manpower, and energy, and sometimes it can’t be cleaned. In view of these problems, this paper puts forward that the washing machine is applied to the field of cultivating trays, and has developed a saving and practical cleaning machine for cultivating trays.The cleaning of cultivating trays is completely different from that of dishes. The cultivating trays are roughly rectangular grooves of 2.4m long, adhered to the scale and moss that cannot be easily cleaned by simple washing procedures. At the same time, it has to clean the inner groove, outer surface and a bottom surface. All these increase the difficulty of the design for the cleaning machines for cultivating trays. In view of these problems, this paper has carried on a brand-new design to the five systems used in the cleaning machines, including the overall structure, cleaning system, driving system, water supply and drainage system, and control system.For the overall structure, the seamless interface between ANSYS 2012 and Solidworks 13 is built, and the static analysis and modal analysis of the cleaning frame are carried out by using ANSYS 13 Workbench. Through the static analysis of the cleaning frame, the cleaning frame is improved until the stiffness is satisfied. Modal analysis on the frame of the cleaning frame and by extending the previous 6 modes, we find that as the impact frequency of the synchronous belt is 61.67Hz, the working frequency of the ditching machine should be set in between 36.54Hz-50.66 Hz, or 113.91 Hz-171.04Hz, to enable the working frequency away from the natural frequency of the cleaning frame, avoiding the resonance of the cleaning device. For the more, the machine has a suspension damping device, reducing the vibration and noise generated during the work. The selected material is also economically beneficial.Cleaning system is the core part of the washing machine, and brush design is particularly important. Therefore, we developed a new kind of an M-shape brush in this paper which particularly suits the structure of the cleaning machine and can simultaneously clean multiple surfaces of the cultivating trays, automatically adjust the washing force, and conveniently disassembled. There are two rows of roller tracks in the cleaning frame, which are not only convenient for the groove to be push on and removed, but also can play a role in the cleaning of the groove’s bottom.For transmission system, this thesis chooses the synchronous belt as the linear guide rail slider, which has the advantages of accurate and stable transmission, and more importantly, is also low cost, simple structure, and low noise. The stepping motor is chosen as the power source of the synchronous belt, which realizes the functions of quick start, brake and reverse, and accords with the request of the cleaning machine for reciprocating washing.For the water inlet and drainage system, this paper designs a simple and practical wastewater recycling system. On the other hand, the fan nozzles were tested by simulation. The effects of jet angle and the jet impact force on the cleaning effect were studied by changing the parameters of outlet diameter and a V-shaped slot angle and pressure. The optimal parameters are obtained by setting the optimal pressure as 9MPa, the optimum target as 260 cm. The laws of the jet angle and the impact force with the parameters of the jet are also found. According to these parameters, the fan nozzle is improved and the best nozzle is produced in accordance with the requirements of the cleaning machine.In the control system, the single chip microcomputer is used as the core and the intelligent control of the cleaning process is realized by taking the action time of each part as the logic order.
