The development of agriculture was affected by the factors such as the shortage of water resources, serious soil erosion, the distribution of water resources in temporal and spatial, irrational use of water resources and the waste of water resources. Regulated deficit irrigation was based on the physiological characteristics of crops to improve water use efficiency. Therefore, the experimental study on the water consumption of Maize under regulated deficit irrigation was of great significance for the development of water-saving agriculture, which provided theoretical basis for the reasonable planning of the irrigation mode of maize.The paper according to the measured data of the experiment pit in 2014-2015, regard corn as the materials of experiment, using statistical analysis method, partial l east-squares regression method, accelerating genetic algorithm, maize physiological dynamic, rules of water consumption, water use efficiency, yield and its component factors of different water deficit treatment were studied, research conclusions were as follows:(1)After different growth stages of corn of regulated deficit irrigation recovered water, plant height will appear a certain degree of compensation effect. Stem diameter of the treatment of filling stage was the most obvious, and the stem diameter of other treatments had no significant change. In the plant growth stage of appropriate water deficit improved stem diameter, promoted plant stalk is strong, enhanced plant lodging resistance. The length of bare tip of maize in seedling stage was the smallest, and the length of ear length was the longest. On 100 grain weight, grain weight of the treatment of severe loss of grain weight at jointing stage was the smallest, and the percentage of maize with moderate loss was larger.(2)During the whole growth period of water deficit than any period of water deficit in various physiological indexes of maize plant growth had the greatest impact, the bald tip length,the lowest 100 grain weight,the worst corn,the lowest yield and the worst spike.(3)In different growth stages, the water consumption of maize was not the same.In the view of water consumption of whole growth period,the performance was jointing > tasseling stage,respectively accounted for 37.77% and 31.71% of the total water consumption, therefore,it should not be carried out in the critical period of water requirement as jointing stage and the peak of water demand in severe deficit. In the view of water consumption intensity of the day, the most sensitive stage was tasseling stage, the daily water consumption of maize in seedling stage was the least. In the view of single growth stage,the effect of regulated deficit irrigation on maize water consumption was minimal, and the effect of regulated deficit irrigation on water consumption was greatest in the jointing stage.(4)Effect of regulated deficit irrigation on yield of seedling stage was smallest,the effect of regulated deficit irrigation at jointing stage and heading stage on yield was the most,and the deficit degree was bigger, the maize crop was more serious.(5)moderate water deficit on water use efficiency of seedling had almost no influence,effects of water use efficiency of regulated deficit irrigation on heading stage was biggest,followed by jointing loss; filling stage regulated deficit on water use efficiency was not obvious; in the whole growth period, the water use efficiency of the moderately regulated deficit was the most.the water use efficiency of full irrigation in the whole growth period was decreased than normal irrigation,the excessive irrigation was not conducive to the effective use of water resources.(6)The sensitive coefficient of water deficit in different growth stages of maize was:Heading stage > jointing stage > filling stage,we can know through compare of several kinds of water production function model that the model of Jensen and the model of Stewart are more practical(7)Through the analysis and evaluation of different water treatment modes,we knew that the optimal regulated deficit irrigation scheme was the water treatment i n the seedling stage.Study on water consumption of Maize under regulated deficit irrigation and master the effects of different water deficit on the growth, yield and water use efficiency of maize,which is of great significance to save water,increase grain output,agricultural development and ecological civilization construction.
