Fruit production has been a major concern of agricultural products after collecting at home and abroad. However, the main reason for the loss of fruit production is the mechanical damage such as extrusion, impact, friction, collision and vibration in the process of transportation. Experimenting on crown pear, this article studies Mechanical properties of crown pear. And on that basis, we studied the protective effect and damage effect of single layer, multi-layer and multi buffer materials, package and placement methods. To a certain extent, we solved effectively the problem of mechanical damage in the circulation of fruit, provided theoretical and technical support in China.(1) Test of sweep frequency found that with the increasing acceleration, the resonance frequency of the single layer of crown pear got gradually smaller, the energy transfer rate had gradually gotten smaller.(2) Establishing the model of the area damage rate and volume damage rate with time. The test of seven layers for the fixed frequency vibration, obtained the resonance frequency of each layer from the bottom to the top,69Hz,66Hz,52Hz,40Hz,21Hz,21Hz,19Hz. In addition, with the changing of vibration time, the damage of crown pear was also different. According to the fixed frequency vibration of seven layers of crown pear in 6h, the damage rate and the volume damage rate and time of crown pear were obtained.(3) It was very necessary to study the damage of fruit during transportation, and simulated the actual transportation vibration. The results showed that three kinds of liners, cushioning effect of corrugated board A was the best, C was better, B corrugated board cushioning effect was the worst. For the EPE pad, protective effect of crown pear for 5mm-7mm thickness of EPE are the best. For the combination of blocking, protective effect of crown pear for 2mm~6mm thickness of EPE are the best.(4) Using the composite material of 2mm EPE and corrugated cardboard A to replace the spacer and liner of Traditional wholesale packaging. Discarded the EPS bags and wrapping paper, saving operation process of crown pear packing, so that we can save the space and reduce cost. We optimized the structure of the top grade cushioning package of crown pear. We used a round hole to fix the position of the crown. We used round hole board with 2mmEPE liner to prevent crown pear from the impact and friction. We verifed the cushioning package of the crown pear for wholesale and boutique, Test results showed that, the optimized packing could protect the crown pear well and reduced the damage rate of volume and area.
