| Studies of forest biomass is important component of the global carbon cycle and forest ecosystem dynamics. Nowadays, Phyllostachy edulis is the most versatile bamboo species which have the largest area of cultivation, and also has the highest economic value and degree of development utilization. Biomass reflects the combined effects of the surrounding environment on Phylloslachy edulis by studying biomass has an important significance of intensive farming. Taking Phyllostachy edulis of Fujain Jiangle as the object of study and basing on sample plots investigation and the standard wood biomass determination, to analysis the moisture content of various organs and distribution of aboveground biomass Phyllostachy edulis, the main findings are as follows:(1) DBH of Phyllostachy edulis with the increasing of high, their relationship was significant at 0.01 level. There are some differences between the various organs of the moisture content of Phylloslachy edulis:leaf (51.3%)> culm (34.38%)> branch (30.5%). and the range of water content in various organs are between 30.54% to 64.37%.In the level of individual plant, the water content of culm decreased with the increase of height, and the range was about 5.3%.The moisture content of culm is highest in 0-2m segment. With the increase of diameter at breast height, the water content of culm gradually decreased, and the average level was 8.25%.Phyllostachy edulis aboveground biomass distribution accounted for the main part of culm (76%), a small proportion of branch (17%) and leaves (7%).2-3 years old of Phyllostachy edulis culm biomass accounted for the largest proportion.(2) By fitting independence unary, binary and ternary nonlinear model of each organ of bamboo biomass, the precision and Fitting index of binary and ternary nonlinear model is much better than unary.
