Callosobruchus maculates is a worldwide quarantine pest in some parts of China which has been found that the pest, causing huge losses to the legume production, agricultural economic development. Biological properties of Callosobruchus maculates study provides the basis for the identification of the port quarantine work.Embryo research and ovarian development can predict the occurrence of pest forecasting, which providing a theoretical basis for the integrated control of Callosobruchus maculates. By dissecting Callosobruchus maculates eggs and female adults, we studied the embryos and ovarian development preliminary. Callosobruchus maculates cleavage stage embryo development experience, with blastoderm embryo formation, mesodermal embryonic membrane formation, sections and embryo appendages formation, the embryo back together five phases or stages of embryonic mature, female adults at a temperature of 28℃,70% relative humidity conditions, embryonic development duration is 118h, which is 0~11h after spawning cleavage stage,12h~16h to blastoderm embryo with the formation stage,17h~20h of mesodermal embryonic membrane formation period,21h~90h for the sub-sections and appendages form the embryo stage,92h~118h is back together with embryonic embryonic stage of maturity. At the same temperature and humidity conditions, the deposition of ovarian development into yolk, eggs mature, mature until birth, spawning and spawning peak late five levels, female oviposition period of 15 days. In the control methods discussed above, with microwave heat treatment 120s, freezing conditions at-25℃ 0.5h and 5 concentration gradients above 50℃ hot water soaked 0.5h make Callosobruchus maculates state insect mortality rate of 100%, with the pyrethrin, avermectin, matrine, Bacillus thuringiensis handle Callosobruchus maculates adults,72h mortality statistics, derived LC50 were 7.13576ug/ml,3.83465ug/ml,72.47061ug/ml,41.71291ug/ml, so the toxicity of avermectin strongest, followed by pyrethrins.
