Callosobruchus Maculatus Fabricius, possess essential economic significant because of widely and seriously damage, is one of the common object of plant quarantine. Currently, a lot callosobruchus maculatus control research have been done by domestic and abroad, but there is still nobody report temperature effect on callosobruchus maculatus population in detail.This paper aims to research growth and development circumstance of callosobruchus maculatus population experimenting under temperature environmental factors in laboratory. Survival rate, growth rate and relation between parameter and temperature factors of callosobruchus maculatus individual experimental generation are observed and measured.Under the greenhouse isolation and 75% relative humidity, we can use red been, which purchasing in the market as the food feeding experimental population, so as to research the impact of growth and development and reproduction of callosobruchus maculatus within different temperature (including 20℃,24℃,28℃,32℃,37℃). The results show that:with above mentioned five types temperature, callosobruchus maculatus’s developmental stage (immaturity), rang egg to adult is 66.0 days,31.0 days,27.0 days,21.0days,23.0days, whose developmental original temperature is 13.42℃ and accumulated temperature of 80.828 degree-day. Latent period in beans (larval stage and pupal stage), that its original temperature is 13.87℃ and accumulated temperature of 324.906 degree-day. Whole immature stage, that its original temperature is 13.39℃ and accumulated temperature of 418.696 degree-day. The relation between temperature and developmental time of each stage of callosobruchus maculatus experiment population are quadratic parabola. The maximum survival rate is 32℃ (86.56%) and the minimum is 20℃ (35.21%). The optimum survival temperature is 30.8℃. As the temperature rose, the longevity of adult and the time of egg hatching declined in linear. In the range of 20 ℃ to 32℃, the number of spawn would be affected on rising temperature as its gains increase. But a significant decline will be appeared when the temperature reaching over 37℃. The relation between increase rate of population quantity and temperature are quadratic parabola. And the most appropriate increase temperature for population is 33.3℃.Conducting research of temperature effect on callosobruchus maculatus population not only improve the research of callosobruchus maculatus ecology and enrich the research contents of insect population ecology, but also offer effective technical reference for our grain section. And it also offer accurate experimental and theoretical data and effective theory basis for prevention and cure since callosobruchus maculatus is a vital object of plant quarantine in China.
