Tomato is one of the major consumer vegetables in the world. Tomato fruits are rich of vitamin A, vitamin C, lycopene and a variety of inorganic salt, and the flavor is unique and nutritional value is high.Tomato can reduce blood cholesterol,decrease the rate of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, and prevent the tumor. So it’s popular among people. People’s living standard and life quality are gradually becoming improving with the development of society, and the demand for tomato is increasing, which is boosting cultivation area of tomato in china. At the same time, people also put forward higher requirements for tomato quality, fruit not only has high nutritional value, but also have good commodity properties and sensory flavor. Tomato varieties are becoming increasing with the further study and the development of breeding technology, so it can provide the basis for variety selection, promotion and reasonable layout by evaluating its adaptability, high yield, stability, resistance and economic value, which accelerate and promote the application of tomato breeding achievements.This experiment belongs to The National Fresh Tomato Variety Regional Test. From December 2014 to September 2015, the research was performed in sunlight greenhouse of Dazhai Agricultural Demonstration Garden, Xianyang city of Shaanxi province, China. The method was performance according to the requirements of The National Variety Regional Test Project. 26 ordinary pink tomato and 18 cherry tomato varieties were planted. Six main aspects were observed including the phonological period, plant trait, fruit character, commodity, disease resistance and yield. About 40 characters were observed in the field.Applying membership function method on the varieties for integrated evaluation, through comparison, the main results were as follows:1. F-22 were identified that have excellent comprehensive properties and good quality in 26 ordinary pink tomato varieties. F-1, F-2, F-3, F-5 also found as another 4 potential tomato breeds. It were higher for F-1 in the early stage yield, total yield, soluble solids content(SSC) and percentage of commercial fruit; For F-2, the yield is the highest, 3534.84 kg per mu, and fruit hardness is higher; F-3 has the highest hardness, 2.38 kg/cm2, and a longer shelf life; F-5 as high resistance to tomato yellow leaf disease(TYLCV), also resistance to tomato leaf mode and tomato late blight, can be used as the disease-resistant varieties.2. 12 varieties were selected from 18 cherry tomato varieties,those have excellent comprehensive properties and good quality. Y-10 has superior trait, and the yield is the highest, 2664.56 kg per mu; Integrated performance of Y-5 is second only to Y-10, and soluble solids content(SSC) is relatively higher; Y-13 has high soluble solids content(SSC) and yield, and a good resistance to disease(high resistance to tomato yellow leaf disease(TYLCV), also resistance to tomato leaf mode and tomato late blight); Y-15 has the highest hardness and good comprehensive disease resistance, can be used as the tolerance to shipping and disease-resistant varieties.
